I just wanted to share my unusual service experience at this Dunkin. I stopped for a simple order for an iced coffee and a donut. There were only around 6 donuts in the entire display to choose from, and I don't mean varieties - I mean the actual count. I didn't have any cash on me, so I prepared to pay my $5 something bill with my phone. As he was ringing me up, he grabbed the tip jar, held it up and started shaking it at me. Ironically, there was no option to tip via the POS system, which I suppose I would have done if the option was given to me, but it wasn't. The transaction closed and he gave me my receipt, but again, he picked up the tip jar and shook it at me. After a few uncomfortable seconds of him holding up the jar and watching for my reaction, I began to look in my pockets and wallet for some change or a dollar I forgot about, but I simply reconfirmed for myself I had no cash. I was the only customer in the store, and it only took about a minute to get the coffee poured and handed to me. I wasn't given a straw and asked for one and he pointed me to a stand on the other side of the room to grab my own. He walked over to the tip jar to check it and in a terse and incredulous tone asked why I didn't tip him. I replied that I had no cash on me, but he started to raise his voice, irritated about my disclosure. I simply vacated the property instead of sitting there eating and being exposed to his vitriol. I'm not sure that aggressive tip shaming by the staff is a tactic the proprietors or Dunkin Corporate would support. So, be wary of this if you decide to stop by...
Read moreDid those of you who gave this Dunkin' a 4 or 5 star review recently suffer head trauma? are you kidding me ? I've been going to this Dunkin' location for 4 years on and off as it is the closest geographic location but I can assure you it deserves ZERO stars. They are at a hall of fame level of incompetence. Extremely slow, disorganized, the manager appears to be off his meds, they have two people working max. during rush hour in the morning. When I'm not late for work I'll drive 10 minutes out of the way to go to a SLIGHTLY better location that is somewhat poorly run itself. It's at the point where I'll place an order ahead on the mobile app, go to pick up my coffee order, and if I see it hasn't been prepared and there are more than 4 people on line (which equates to 30 minutes of waiting time at this Dunkin'), I'll take whatever mobile coffee order is there. I feel bad doing so, but my time is more valuable than the time it takes for this poorly run Dunkin' to whip up another latte for whoever's I grabbed. Pre covid, the management team at this location had its act somewhat together. Now it is a cesspool of a Dunkin' Donuts. Avoid...
Read moreSomehow my Mobile order did not go through. While waiting for my coffee I asked the employee, she saw nothing so without me even asking grabbed the manager. The manager was not kind at all and told me “oh well it didn’t come through you must have us confused with a different location”. I nicely showed him the address and showed him my order, he looked at it and said “great that is us but it didn’t come through here so there is nothing I can do.” He then turned around and just walked away from me. Why I’m writing this review is because he straight ignored me and didn’t even bother to ask if I wanted to buy another one. I would have paid because I knew I would have gotten a refund for the mess up order thru the app (which I already did). I even stated to him “so this means I have to go to another dunkin to buy a coffee?” He looked at me said nothing, then proceeded to turn around and pretend to mop the floor with a dry mop 😂 that’s how I know I was...
