ASIANO Thai & Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Riverside Township

AMAZING. The food quality and portions are excellent. This place has only been opened for three months! My friend looked up the business online. When we pulled up we hesitated because the outside does not look like much. There are pictures of Thai food on the windows and it gives the appearance of an Asian takeout place.

But one step inside and we realized oh that is not the case at all! First off this is a super CLEAN place. I love the simple decor, very bright white tables with black seating. Modern looking.

The meals are great. We started with fried tofu and dipping sauce. My friend got a Thai iced coffee and I had a sip, sweet and really good.

We got soup - he got Tom Kha soup and I got miso. Mmmm huge pieces of tofu and seaweed. It was very satisfying. I got an Asiano salad and it came out fresh with a side of peanut sauce.

The waiter gave us a complimentary serving of spring rolls which was so nice! It’s the little things that matter. The rolls were hot and delicious.

My friend had chicken pad Thai lunch special with spicy sauce. He really enjoyed it.

I'm Vietnamese, my husband is American from here and we're currently living in Vietnam. We've already been to Thailand many times, and therefore we've tried lots of Thai food when we've been over there. I would say this place is the authentic Thai cuisine you could get so far over this area. The service was great, the guy who is the owner of this restaurant was also serving us at our first time to be there, he was so nice to us. All the dishes we've had were tasty with the true authentic flavor like what we've tasted in Thailand previously. The food's portion was enough for us, we still had some left over food to take home because we were just so full and couldn't have more room to eat all. Definitely should try the Mango sticky rice as a dessert after the meal, my husband loves it so far as how he usually got it in Thailand. We hope this place is going to be here for long-term, so every year from now on whenever my husband and I travel back home to see his family here, we would love to visit this restaurant. This is just my personal opinion on having dinner in this establish. I ordered the $8 spicy tuna, $8.95 shrimp Rolls , $14.95 Orange rice , $4.95 Thai Ice Coffee . Total was $41.58 I was not satisfied with the spicy Tuna it was not spicy and way too dry ! Where I did not even finish it . Orange rice was ok but not the best very small portion of chicken there was more white rice than orange chicken . The only thing I feel was to my liking was the excellent Thai ice Coffee.
