Milanese Pizza — Restaurant in Riverside Township

Pizza is just not good. I tried single slices first, bad idea... the crust was very hard, dry I couldn't even eat it. I decided, let me give them a fair chance and order a whole fresh pie before making a final decision. NO NO NO... the crust was still hard, they cook it too long. I didn't like their pepperoni (seemed very spicy) didn't like their sausage. I've had pizza from different states, many cities in NJ and on a scale v 1-10, 10 being the worst, this place is a 9. I came based on the reviews, but if the pizza is not good to me. I can't move to other foods on the menu. This place could be the best pizza other ppl had, great... Tried Milanese Pizza for the first time this past Monday because a portion of the money made that night went to my daughter's school. We got a large pepperoni pizza roll (pictures,) bacon cheese fries and a cheese steak. Everything was phenomenal!!! The pizza roll is huge and isn't greasy like most places! And the crust is delicious! I was very impressed by the bacon cheese fries. Most places you get some wiz and bacon bits in a little blob on the top. Not here! The cheese and bacon covered ALL of the fries from top to bottom and the large is easily enough for 3 people to share! The cheese steak was the best in the area. The meat was very nicely seasoned! I have been going to Milanese since I moved to the area in 2002. I love their pizza but my last experience was terrible. They told me to come pick the pie up in 25 minutes. I got there in 30 and I had to wait an additional 25 mins because the employee taking orders didn’t put the order in. Also, I overheard her calling back a customer because she forgot to charge an additional item. When the pie was finally ready there was no sorry about the wait or anything.
