Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Riverside

Carl's Jr. food is always delicious. However despite this shopping center being recently remodeled and new shops and stores in place, there are undesirables that wonder this side of the centers parking lot. Homeless who come up asking for money and this entrance is dangerous due to people being jerks and blocking the entrance to Carl's Jr or driving so fast it's hard to leave after exiting the drive thru. Directly across the street from Carl's Jr. Right behind the WSS shoe store is a group of homeless druggies that have been known to break into people's cars and they are the same ones coming up to your car in the drive thru asking for money and cigarettes. I'm not just trashing on homeless people. These individuals have been reported on and there's even flyers in the shops stores with there pictures on it saying not to allow in store etc. So please use caution at this location. Otherwise the store has been recently remodeled and upgraded with new ordering screens. Food has always been cooked completely and my orders have rarely been wrong. Prices are high but that's the case at all fast food places as of current. They do offer smaller versions of a few of there staple burgers for less money I believe they are like $1.99each if you buy...

Zero stars if I Could. I used to be a worker at this Carl's Jr and let me tell you, disgusting. Instead of using the tongs like they should, you'll find the line cooks using their hands with gloves to do so in order to be more time efficient. Where they promise to rotate the fries, onion rings and the fried foods, you'll find them sitting there for about an hour on a slow day. When you ask for fries with no salt, they'll just put the old fries in the basket, dunk them into the fyer again, and shake out the salt. Look, "fresh" unsalted fried.

Recently I even ordered online for delivery and it came completely wrong. Instead of two chicken burger we got two meat burgers, AND ONE OF THEM HAD A HAIR. When calling to inform them of the mistake, the person on the phone said that they had packaged it right, and the delivery guy must've just made a mistake. Perfectly reasonable, but except for the fact that it had the correct name on the bag. Please, dont blame it on the delivery man and just owe up that this place over works you, and you made a simple mistake. It happens. Anyways, i would definitely not recommend ordering online delivery, for pick up, or even dine in from here. -coming from an ex- line cook...

Updated Review ☆ I tried out the new and improved sourdough star burger here and it tasted pretty alright 👍

This is whats included: Sourdough bun Beef patty Lettuce Tomatoe Cheese Mayo and some other type of sauce which is carls jr signature sauce.

They include a single or double patty option and it tastes better than the last sourdough burger they had before, just dont save the burger for later since it quickly goes bad going very soft and losing its flavor if you reheat it in the microwave.

As for an overall review, they dont make good quality burgers here, i can confirm because i tried multiple items from this location and other carls jrs.

The pattys come very small making the idea that they freeze their patties which lose lots of the flavor and size when they go to cook your food, they have new employees from time to time so its understandable that they forgot to get my drink as ive been waiting a good 10 minutes in the parking lot.

I give this place a 2 out of 5 but a place id still come to eat, ill update my review in the future to see if they change for the better, if not this review...
