This place was so sick. In all of the best ways. I'm at my sister's house and we decide we are going to go to lunch..I choose Mexican and they choose this spot...I'm following them in my car and we are passing spot after spot and I'm getting all perturbed because I'm starving. . 20 mins and 20 Mexican food joints in my rearview we arrive. .the shopping center looked run down...when we entered it was a whole different world. The aroma was enticing, it was clean, cool, well designed...almost caferteria style dining area ...we ordered.. the line was a few deep but moved well...the host was friendly and patient. My sister's boyfriend handed me a 39. Dollar receipt from there last visit which that had ordered to go, they did not get their side of beans...I asked the hostess, she asked I assume someone in charge..that person is the reason for the missing star, she rolled her eyes, and said "there's no beans on the receipt" which I had already explained, they ordered beans and got rice...a simple mistake. She says loud enough for me to hear" they always have a problem, Everytime they come...who did they talk to..." Now I know she's not talking about me, I've never been...i don't think she could see my sister and her boyfriend by that time they had went to find a wheelchair accessible table...the cashier comes back over asks who he spoke to....I tell her forget it there's already a line...one cashier and I'm not going to try to prove up some missing beans ....just charge me for a side of beans ...she does...(even though it's the wrong size and I have to after getting our food stand in the line again to order and pay again for the large size) ....it sounds like I hated it...the food was delicious. I mean 10 outta 10. Fish tacos exactly the way I remember them in La Bufadora, the salsa bar on point. Everyone was super friendly...except the lady with panties in a bunch thinking I'm trying to get over on them for some beans. My total was just over 50.00 it included 3 ceviche specials 2 fish tacos, one small side of beans one large side of beans 3 date cookies a bottle of water a Coke...

There is no waiter or waitress. You order and sit somewhere of your choice. When your food is ready, they call your name. We got fish tacos, asada tacos, shrimp tacos, and two drinks. We ordered piña and horchata. What I liked is that they ask you how much ice you'd like in your drink.
I ate the asada tacos first. The meat was not hot. It wasn't warm either. It felt room temperature. However, with all the toppings, including lime and Chile, they were good! I'm sure if the meat was nice and hot, they would've tasted even better. The fish tacos were also delicious. I really like that they give a lot of lime, instead of 1 slice like other places. The shrimp taco was so delicious I wanted to get more, but I got full. There was a very spicy jalapeño that kicked my butt. The drinks combined so well with the food.
Restrooms are available. There's also a TV in the eating area. The staff was friendly. Thank you...
Read moreCame in here with my husband for brunch . I got two tostadas de Asada and he got a torta . Right from the beginning the cashier/server had an attitude with us . When I walked towards what used to be the salsa bar (which for COVID reasons is no longer there which I didn’t know ) I had ask the cashier for chilis and salsa and she said with an attitude tone you will get it with your order . It’s the way she said it her tone that bother me . Also I notice when it came for our order they called us to pick it up which I didn’t mind but notice another couple sitting outside as well there order was brought out to them . I feel they should give equally customer service to all customers. And lastly when I took a bite of one my tostadas it had a...
