Starbucks — Restaurant in Riverside

I just walked out and I don’t know the guys name but he had brown curly-ish hair and was wearing a hat. I know. Real helpful. Anyways, I’m having the worst day and I just want a coffee to help me get through the rest of it. I did the mobile order and accidentally ordered it at the wrong store. I’m the kind of person who will wait way too long before I realize something is wrong with my order. This guy noticed I had been waiting for too long and asked me what my order was. No one has ever done that before. I’m always the one who has mentioned I haven’t gotten my elder in time at other business’s. It doesn’t bother me but it was a nice change. The place where I actually ordered from is in the opposite way I’m going even though it’s not very far. He offered to make my drink right then and there. I got a PSL and I hate being the stereotypical white girl but it’s a good drink. I told him it was lame and when he handed me my drink he said it’s not lame at all and he’ll be drinking it for the next 3 months exclusively. It made my day so much...

When my mother and I walked in there were plenty of workers that looked at us and no one spoke to us. There was no one in line so it wasn’t like they were too busy. I said hello Good morning really loud intentionally to bring to their attn ppl are here. I then clearly stated my order of a blonde VANILLA latte with whip as I get every morning. They gave me a simple “blonde latte” which was fine ok you forgot to give me a vanilla one, BUT when I brought it to their attn the barista Says, “oh you didn’t tell me vanilla but I guess we can add some to it” I’m like ok thank you! Edith the “Supervisor” sounds like she doesn’t care about other baristas from different counties. I placed an order at the drive thru only wanting to use my discount and nothing else only for her to berate and embarrass me in front of my family. I have been working at Starbucks for almost three years now and I have followed every single protocol that applies to EVERY single barista but Edith’s idea of “leadership” is threatening to report me when I have done no wrongdoing. I don’t know how much she is making to lash out the way she did at me, but I’m going to see to it that her managers of higher authority and mine hear about her little tirade at the drive thru.
