European Deli Market — Restaurant in Riverside

Today was the first time I came into this place. I asked Iskra, the one working at the front what her favorite sandwiches were. She recommended the German hotdog and the pastrami. She said she makes them fresh. So I tried the pastrami and wow I’m amazed. It was so juicy and not too salty compare to what I’ve had from other places. I’ve never had a juicy pastrami and it’s thick and not dry. The sandwiches were hugeeeee! They are not too expensive either. The sandwiches tasted so delicious. This place is super clean and organized. I wanted to buy everything but I had to hold back. Iskra is the sweetest. She showed great customer service and really treated me like a person. Mediocre cheese that spoiled fast. Although their Facebook page shows a variety of sweet pastries, the store actually does not carry them. There was an overall poor selection of items. I would recommend going to George's Market in Calimesa instead. They have a better selection and definitely more friendly service. The prices are similar. Lastly, the owner was unprofessional in resolving a mispriced item; the main problem was lack of communication and dismissive attitude...

My boyfriend and I came here to check out what they have. We end up getting slices of mortdella, havarti and black forest ham, a loaf of German rye bread, a couple flavored sparkling water and muffeltta sandwich. Everything was so good and fresh. If you love buying sliced meats, forget Ralph's and Stater Bros, the quality here is so much better! I believe you can ask for samples of deli meat and cheese as we did!
