Was about to hop on the freeway to eat closer to Tyler when I noticed the signage for Philly's Best. Decided to give it a try and totally glad we did. Ordered the mushroom cheesesteak and the Philly's best version with an order of fries (to go) and both definitely hit the spot. The bread was perfectly soft and chewy, and the meat was very flavorful. The fries were also very good, nice and crispy and seasoned well. Would definitely buy from again.
The one negative comes from the traditional cooking method for the cheesesteaks, which is the chopping noise. I get that it's how it's done, but I don't think I could eat there as it gets a little too loud and disturbing. Too bad, as it looks like they have a unique offering of drinks,...

I found the price to be a little on the higher side when I was ordering, but after receiving the meal, I realized it was a fair value,
I ordered the Philly cheesesteak $12.99 with grilled onions and a french fry $4.99 total with tax $19.56
The sandwich was quite hefty, and certainly could be shared between two people and the french fries were pretty good rustic cut, and was a pretty large order could also be shared between two people.
It was pretty tasty. The food was fresh and hot, and I would definitely eat here again. Four thumbs up...
