Tried them out today. The tacos are offered with choice of meat, and can be flour or corn. The corn tortillas are homemade. A little thick, but not bad. I ordered Al Pastor, and hubs ordered Asada. Asada wasn’t bad, but nothing memorable. The Al Pastor was dry and had very little flavor. The red sauce I added helped. You add your own onions, cilantro, radish, etc., over by the cashier. Hubs also ordered a side of Guacamole and chips. These are separate orders and 11 dollars and change for both. Nothing special about the guac, or the chips. A guy was outside cooking meat over a fire and it smelled delicious. This place appears to be a mom and pop business. I would love to say I’d return, but probably will not. The music playing was a little too loud, and might explain why the guy at the counter did not hear/understand that I ordered 2 Pastor tacos, which I had to say twice. They mixed up the order and gave each of us one Pastor and one Asada taco each. (We just swapped). Then they only charged us for 2 of the 4 tacos, which we made good at the end of our meal. Nothing special about the interior decor. It is air conditioned thank goodness. Handicapped accessible. Wish I had a...
Read moreA new restaurant in my neighborhood! I stopped in today and had lunch. If you are not a fan of cabeza, this restaurant will change your mind! It's done birria style and it's delicious. The flour and corn tortillas are made in house. The meat is barbecued outside. The beans have an unusual flavor that was quite good. The red sauce is hot, and the green sauce is not. They serve Coca-Cola products! There are 10 parking spaces in the back and 2 on the left side of the building plus 1 handicap space in the front. Parking is also available on the side street. I ordered two tacos, a side of beans, and a Diet Coke. I was quite full when I left. I will...
Read moreCame to try this place, saw an IG post hyping up Sonora tacos. Handmade tortilla but they were a bit thicker than regular ones so it overpowers meat. Had 2 asada 1 al pastor, beef tasted better. But some what average no wow factor. Red sauce spicy but good. Their condiment station is way too small, expand agua frescas selection. Place looks like a converted office not a stand out taqueria. Being local, businesses don't last at this location so they need to step up their game. Dos Potrillos is still up on them. How...
