Food was good! Service was somewhat good too. However, I am disabled and I have a service dog. I came here for the first time about 2-3 weeks ago with my fully trained service dog, one man gave me an issue about my service dog, they wanted us to sit outside but since it was freezing that night, we said no. Especially with my dad who gets cold easily. They walked away to see where they can seat us, after a moment... They came back and we got seated. This was my first time at this restaurant so I put my service dog under the table, where a service dog SHOULD go. they don't have to be under the table, they can lay down right by my side when sitting at a booth when I sit at the end (if that makes sense) this nice worker came over and told me its a hazard and wanted me to move, I told my dad we could switch since I was sitting by the wall and my service dog was under the table. We moved and they came back again, INSISTING on us moving outside, I said no. They eventually gave up, my service dog wasn't in the way, he was at the end of the table, FAR away from the heater. We had no issues. Adding to this, my fully trained service dog is a golden retriever.
I came here again last night, after a long, exhausting day, I just wanted to eat and leave. I was tired and having a awful health day. This time, I had my service dog in training who's a Flat Coated Retriever (rare breed) We walked in and sure enough, we had another issue. They wanted us outside once again. My dad was in the bathroom and my brother and I both said no. They kept giving us issues, I said "I was here with my other service dog a few weeks ago and I sat at the end, he was right next to me, laying on the ground out of the way. We were at a booth." Since our party was bigger, there was a big table open, I was gonna put my service dog between my dad and I. Again, they insisted on us going outside again. Which we did. I was too tired to argue. I have been a service dog handler for 5 years and I haven't really gotten public access issues and never dealt with bad ones like this one here. I get it, I'm a young person with a service dog and sometimes I wish I was like everyone else who didn't need a dog everywhere they go but it's not my choice. I'm disabled. Just because I have a service dog doesn't mean I need to be put outside because of everyone else, my dogs are both medium sized dogs, they aren't very big. Besides all this, food was great! Loved it. But I don't know if I'll be coming back due to the issues they gave me over my service dogs. I tried to be nice, most legitimate service dog handlers would've probably sued them for this but I didn't wanna go that far, I wanted to educate them but they didn't wanna listen. They can only ask me 2 questions: 1) is that a service dog? 2) what tasks are he/she trained to perform? You know when a service dog is legit and when it's fake. Legitimate service dogs would quietly lay down on the floor in a restaurant, not on the chair or booth. Both of my service dogs are multipurpose, they do multiple tasks for me. And by law, my service dogs are medical equipment. They wouldn't deny someone with a wheelchair or cane. I didn't report this to the ADA (Americans Disabilities Act) but I just thought I'd warn other legitimate trained service dog handlers out there about...
Read moreUpdate: I called and spoke with the owner. Although he began to get a little defensive when I was honest about the pork belly specifically being 95% fat today, I can understand his passion for his restaurant. That didn't negate the fact that we had what we had experience and food wise but he did offer to treat us next time to a comp meal of the same value. I raised my review to 3 stars. Not wonderful but not the worst because of the response and willingness to listen despite not liking what I had to say. The server will be made aware of my perception of his inattentive behavior and I suggested that maybe he was having an off day and that's not his norm but I definitely wished we'd had a better experience overall. Either way, we may take up the owner on his offer but if so, I will update my review.
I wanted to have a great experience being that it was the first time I was introducing my boyfriend to Korean BBQ. Unfortunately that just did not happen. I hate to complain because I know it's been a stressful time for us all and we're barely being allowed to come out to eat. I just feel like if I don't say anything, my experience will be replicated and change only happens when the opportunity to change presents itself.
The end result is that we left still hungry and totally unsatisfied for $60. We were seated outside and the sides were on the table before we got there, which would've been fine if they were fresh but the kimchi and macaroni salad looked dried out. The sauces were fine so we did use those. I could've asked for fresh but this is where things took a turn and made me very uncomfortable. The server's demeanor wasn't at all helpful. He was abrupt and didn't explain anything. I didn't realize the menu was on a QR code (which is cool!) but he seemed bothered that we didn't realize it before and asked for a menu. When I asked him what something was, cause let's be honest, most don't know everything on this menu, he gave a curt response and it shocked me. He mumbled his answer, rolled his eyes to the side and again, acted like it was an inconvenience to help me. I wanted to leave but felt that if the food was good, it would be worth the awkward interaction with the less than stellar attitude of the server.
Well, here's where that goes south. The meat we ordered was extremely fatty. I expect a decent amount of fat with the pork belly and beef belly but the brisket and bulgogli were very fatty as well. Our cooktop's canister was low so it took things a very long time to cook and thankfully the canister finally went out. Our server could've noticed but he was MIA most of the time so one of the bussers helped instead. He was very pleasant and interactive. I left a tip only in hopes that everyone splits the tips and he gets a share. I really would like my money back for the meals but I didn't feel like I would be heard based on how the server handled regular interaction. I hate leaving bad reviews but I'm just really upset. And still hungry. How is that even possible at an all you can...

Introduction- This is an AYCE (all you can eat) Korean BBQ restaurant. Beside regular BBQ items they serve some delicious side dishes also. One of the top Korean AYCE BBQ restaurants in the Riverside area.
Quality & experience- The food quality is of course good. The servers are awesome! I mean, this is the number 1. The best service that I got so far in years from any restaurant server. Our server was Fernando. Beside him the people who came to change our grill were also very very professional & well mannered. They constantly kept our table up-to-date. The employees/ servers are very attentive & are polite & professional. They help out customers with zero or minimum experience about the flavors & help them to understand the menus. Also, their service to bring orders is faster. Kudos to the team. If you don't know about the BBQ flavor, cut, taste & spice level of the dishes on the menu or have a specific desire for a meat or taste, take their help. They will guide you to enjoy your meal. I look & search for authentic taste and this place offers closest taste to real Korean flavorful of both regular & spicy Bulgogi & BBQ meat items. They do provide a variety of meat cuts of Chicken, pork & beef and few sea-foods, but their Fire Cheese Chicken is an exceptional item & awesome in flavor & is a must try.
Cleanliness The place is clean & tidy. Have separate restrooms for men & ladies and they are clean. Have plenty of sittings both inside and surprisingly outdoor. Nice smoke suction keeps the area nice & smoke free.
Menu & price- They have 3 separate groups of BBQ Menus depending on the variety of meat & seafood items. Prince - $28.99 with 32 choices. King - $34.99 with 39 choices. Emperor - $41.99 with 41 choices. (Check my pic for detail)
Business hours- Their regular business hours are from Sunday - Thursday : 12pm to 10pm. Friday - Saturday : 12pm to 11pm. But I suggest going earlier as you Might need to wait for a while to be seated as most of the time they are packed by the Dinner times.
Location- Located in a nice and quiet part of Riverside Plaza & close to the freeway. It has a nice vibe. Also got a good outside view if you sit outdoors. Has a lot of free parking & is...
