The pizza wasn't bad but the manager was WAY too friendly with our children!!!! My intuition told me that he is not to be trusted. He pulled out a candy filled filthy bucket covered in grime to present to my friend and I's children! He told them his "pet snake" was hiding in it and to be careful... Then he scared them when they reached in for it.. This man is a stranger first of all and shouldn't be scaring anyone's kids... Secondly he came back 5 times I counted throughout our meal to talk to our kids about "his pet snake" and how it like to hide and sneak up on them. I took my son and told him not to talk to that man and I ignored him hoping he would get the drift to leave us alone but he just started telling my friends little girl about his pet snake all the while I'm noticing pictures of him on the wall with big groups of kids. All smiling and it hits me that you know he could be a wolf in Sheeps clothing befriending children.. I may be wrong but I'm a parent and who loves my children and its never okay to be overly friendly with other people's children especially if you are a stranger. He also told the children a joke about seeds saying never eat watermelon seeds because they'll grow in your stomache.. I only ever heard that joke when I was pregnant. So it struck me as not a good joke to tell children... Just something was off about this guy. Don't trust your children with him. He was asking our children as a joke to clean his toilets in the back with a tooth brush and showed them a filthy black bristle tooth brush. The guy ruined our dinner ! And even said he didn't want to give my baby any candy or scare her about the snake because she might "crap her pants" he said... Wow! What a creep! I regret eating here and it burns holes in me to think that this guy is trying to lure kids in with candy then scaring them with his obscene jokes that may be not jokes after all. What he is saying may be truthful encrypted messages but as passing customers it's easy to just brush off and ignore. Well that's how children get hurt and I won't ignore my gut feeling this guy left me and my friend and my husband all felt the...
Read moreWe had simply the worst experience we have ever had at any eating establishment with this Marco's Pizza location in Riverton. My wife initially called in our order for delivery (even calling back to confirm). 45 minutes later, no pizza, so I called in.
The manager Missy was nice at first, and comped the pizza and our cheesebread. She saw that one of her employees had rang it up wrong and promised to train him better. I hung up, and 30 minutes later we still didn't have a pizza.
I called back in, and spoke with Missy again. She asked if my address was some random address (the wrong one), to which I said no, and was told that her driver had for some reason typed in a random phone number that led to a random address. At this point I was quite angry, since we were now an hour and a half past the initial call, and I had two hungry children and a wife who had been waiting.
Finally 20 minutes later my wife called in to see where the driver was, and as she was on the phone, once again with Missy, the driver arrived with the pizza. My wife expressed her extreme frustration with how poor our experience was, Missy made a snippy comment and hung up on her. Then when she tried to call back Missy immediately hung up on her again. Then to top it all off, the pizza toppings were wrong.
I don't know if all the employees at this location are this incompetent and rude, but if the owner is reading this I would implement some serious training to make sure that your staff can fulfill the basic task of preparing and delivering a pizza. Then, teach them about the basics of customer service, because clearly they don't know how to do that either. We have been long-time Marco's customers, and we will take our business elsewhere in the future. Absolutely unacceptable on...

Franchise: I've eaten Marcos a few times across the valley and I think my consensus is that they're a great "local feeling" competitor to Dominos. You have some pretty fresh & delicious tasting pizzas, for a price that hurts without coupons. I definitely think you should give them a try if you haven't already, as I feel for most people after your first order you'll know whether or not you like them better than Dominos.
They offer some unique flavor combinations, and their free cheese bread coupon is definitely worth doing the obnoxious survey for. It's also a great deal if you can get the large pepperoni for 10 bucks online. Of the two desserts, didn't care for the cinnamon squares, something really chemical tasting about them, but the brownies were excellent.
Location: Ordering for delivery or pickup seems to always be a mixed bag. We ordered for pickup twice and delivery through GrubHub once. It's clear that you have to plan your dinner 1 or even 2 hours in advance if you want your pizza by a specific time. One time we tried doing delivery and it said it would take 3 hours, but pick up would only take 30 minutes. So I'm not sure what that's about. But, it's fresh food, not fast food, so I understand, and you should too, so I don't find any issue with all that. The people at the location were really nice when I walked in and it seemed like a clean and fun environment. I liked the outside seating option as well, even though we didn't do that.
Overall, I'm glad to have given Marcos pizza a chance, and I think that many people will be satisfied,...
