Sunday, at about 645... went in and Ordered a grilled chicken club and some onion rings... no one else in line behind me.. one car in drive through.. gentleman in front of me got his roast beef sandwich and then it was just me left... cashier lacked in customer service. Other employee up front was running almost everything. The ladies in the back cooking, did a lot of chatting and laughing. As i walked in, it smelled like manure.. i figured it was someone just getting off from work and in line for dinner, but when the only other person left, the smell did not fade..but at times seemed stronger. Killed my appetite... i heard the sandwich come up ready and they bagged it... while they were "waiting on onion rings" ... no one spoke to me during my long wait... i heard the fryer ding... and thought, good, i can get out of this smell and get home... but another few minutes went by.. didnt get my meal.. finally, after a few more minutes, the cashier asked the cookers qhere rhe onion rings were... and they chuckles and i heard the fryer basket being shaken to release the grease and then dumped in the tray.. cashier popped some in the box for me and as she put them into the bag, I saw they were way over cooker. So now, my sandwich had been sitting in my bag, not under the head lights staying warm, so it is cold.. but I have burned, dark brown, onion rings and but seeing as I have a loss of appetite from the smell inside the lobby.. i wasted my $10 ... thanks for the Major disappointment...
Read moreI am a senior citizen - 79 years old ... on many medications. Some of which demand frequent - sometimes emergency - bathroom visits. I stopped at this Hardees (Store #2915) to have breakfast and go to the restroom. Hardees is one of my "go to places" for breakfast. I spend a lot of money at Hardees ... but this was my first visit to THIS store.
The restroom was locked. I was in trouble. The staff told me the bathrooms require purchase. That was OK with me. I planned to buy food, but I needed the bathroom right then.
They refused to open the bathroom without a purchase. I asked for the cheapest thing on the menu thinking I'd just pay quickly and go to the bathroom. No one saw my need as an issue. No one moved quickly. I ordered a condiment and paid cash (50¢).
Someone then opened the bathroom. It was a very close call, but I made it without soiling myself.
Then, I went to order a meal. When I placed my order, I asked for decaf coffee - this is medically required for me if I'm to have coffee. They informed me they don't sell decaf.
I buy decaf at Hardees all the time. This was my first time ever being in THIS Hardees.
If you are elderly, you might want to try a more accommodating place...
Read moreMy visit wasn't very good, the manager had a very bad attitude and I think that she should be suspended from work to help her decide if she is cut out for this type of work. In my opinion(which isn't the gospel), in a bad situation(rush hour or a lobby full of people) she doesn't have the right attitude or patience to do her job properly. On this particular day(New Years Eve) she had an intrusive attitude and at least one of her fellow employees(young black man) was also very very very very very disrespectful and he said some words that he shouldn't have said to a customer which was me. Now I may have said a few things that I shouldn't have but I was very very upset with them, especially when the manager locked the doors and called the police(as if they thought that I'd run away. She also took down my tags number and all the other information that she(police) asked me to give them. But when I asked her for her name & information she wouldn't provide me with this, so I WILL NOT BE GOING TO THE Hardee's on 9th street SE Roanoke County/Vinton, Virginia. Nyway hopefully they'll get the store and their attitudes...
