I have been a Taco Bell fan my whole life. However what just happened to me has so upset me that I may not be back to a Taco Bell for a while. It was not the food or just the circumstances of what happened, but how I was treated. I started to choke on a bite of food. I tried to clear my throat by taking a drink, but it made it worse & I could not breath! I started to panic & stood up and tried to walk & cough but nothing was working & I was running out if air! I started to involuntarily vomit up some & had to spit out some food & fluids because there was nowhere else for it to go. Unfortunately this happened while I was walking in front of the counter trying to get attention for help, but instead of help, the employees were yelling at me to go outside! Nobody asked are you choking or do you need help or are you ok. Nobody! All I got was a rude "Go outside if you need to do that!". I am lucky to be alive! If I had not vomitted & cleared my airway by myself I would have dropped dead in the middle of the restaurant while being yelled at by Taco Bell employees to go outside! Not the way I ever thought I would die & we are all lucky it did not happen that way. Perhaps all employees should get mandatory training in choking signs & symptoms & basic Heimlich maneuver or even CPR. I will never forget this for as long as I live. It was horrific! I was so oxygen deprived by the time I cleared my airway that I was about to pass out, seeing stars dancing around in my field of vision & shaking afterwards for nearly 30 minutes from the adrenaline rush of almost dying. Read moreFood is typical...unfortunately not great...barely consistent at best. Which is now "typical" It's convenient to my work...that's about it. I don't know when they thought it was a great idea to take away the human experience when ordering food and rely solely on an AI bot. If you try to just order talking like a normal human being, with any type of personalization in there or maybe you want to alter your order, you might as well forget it. I think there is an actual human listening in and if they are and not responding or helping when needed or hear the customer struggling, then shame on them. Specifically at this restaurant, I've had more trouble trying to order...and no I am not being difficult or altering anything. I'm ordering literally what I see on the menu. Never getting a hello, welcome to taco bell. Never a thank you, or anything.They open the window, hand over a bag of food and off you go.. Will my review matter? Nope...probably will get an AI robot response if any. WTH happened to management? Caring about people? Caring about your job? I see why this place has a 3.7 rating. Almost every location has a low rating... Great management will provide great service and food quality. Hire slow, fire fast. Read moreI went here today with my wife and the service was shockingly bad. When we went inside, there was no one behind the counter, so we had to do the order screen instead; I was surprised but shrugged it off. Then, after waiting for around 10 minutes, I finally went up as a few other orders had come through; when I asked about mine, it was obvious they had forgotten it, but then they did get right on it and the man was apologetic (the only reason I am even giving a second star was for him actually minimally caring). After we received the food, we sat down to eat, and when we were almost done, an extremely uptight pair of ladies basically threw us out! There were no signs about not eating in the restaurant; I had selected "Dine In" on the prompt; furthermore, we had been sitting there at a table marked OK for eating at for a long time (mostly because of them taking so long to get us our food).
