I can tell you this food is definitely not a part of my heritage - so the name you have chosen is far from representing my "Virasat" . The food can be called tasteless at best. There are several other restaurants in town that serve way better fare than what this place is passing of as Indian food.
The service is terrible. They bring you a bottle of lukewarm water and you have to wait several minutes to get another bottle. We ordered food for 2 people - simple fare - a fried rice, a non-veg entree and a soup. The fried rice arrived first, the soup after 10 minutes and then, on inquiry, we found the non-veg entree was still being made since "it was a main item". After several minutes of us waiting for the entree to arrive, the serving lady says, "Sorry the food was brought out in the sequence of the order being taken - meaning, the non-veg accompanying entree was brought out last because I ordered the entree as the last item while placing my order". Now if this isn't the most asinine statement ever. In what part of the world is soup served second and the rice and entree served separately. Last I know, Indians ate their non-veg and rice together. Patrons, please be sure to let your server know the sequence in which you want the food brought out to you.
We asked for a bowl to share the soup and some soy sauce and condiments as is customary in all Indo Chinese fare. The bowl arrived after my soup was cold and the condiments never arrived.
The meat tasted like they had picked some random roadkill and prepared it in raw onion paste. The fried rice tasted like rice with some random sauce poured over it and you had to really dive hard to find traces of what must have been shrimp during some time in its existence. I cannot even begin to describe the soup. I have had bad soups in various parts of the world, and but this one took the prize. Wow!! You gotta try hard to make something that bad. It really takes talent.
I can continue to wax eloquent on how bad this place it. Save your money. And go to the Rochester House next door. For a few dollars more, you will be eat...

Delight in Authentic Indian Flavors at VIRASAT Indian Cuisine in Rochester Hills, where the culinary experience is highly recommended by diners.
FOOD QUALITY👍: We tried the Virasat Special Chicken Fried Rice, Kadai Chicken Masala, Naan, and Pappad. The food was delicious with the Special Chicken Fried Rice being a standout dish that’s a must-try. The Kadai Chicken was flavorful but could use slight improvement in terms of spice and texture. A big plus was that the dishes were not as oily compared to other Indian restaurants.

Read moreI want to give a very honest review about this restaurant,It is from a few days ago that I went there with my family because there is a Sai temple next to them where we used to visit every Thursday and we thought that one day we would visit this restaurant . I will come and eat dinner there but we went here but we had a very bad experience, We went with our two children. The workers here blame all their problems on the guest and later do not even tell their manager that it was their fault. The same thing happened to me. I asked the waiter here for two glasses of sprite for the kids, but that day it was busy sometimes she was going here there and it is skip from her mind which is totally understandable ,later I reminded her one more time and she went to her computer and added two sprite to our order but she didn't tell her manager and when we got our food Done and they later came up with Sprite which had no meaning left. And when we refused to take it we said no now let's go then the manager came to me and said you only ordered it two minutes ago but actually we order 20 minutes before and that girl standing over there and looking our face like she didn’t know anything and that manager raised his voice and I can’t forget his face and words ever. But my husband still said no problem, we will not take Sprite, as long as you put it in the bill, I will pay the bill in full. That manager didn't respect us so much that you take it back or anything, his attitude was so bad that I can't tell you that in words, I just want to say good luck, but I also want to say that If someone is coming here, he is coming to spend his...
