As a food enthusiast always on the lookout for new culinary experiences, I had the pleasure of exploring the tantalizing offerings at "RH House," and I was blown away by the quality and variety of dishes available. To start, I savored a delightful appetizer of steak tips in a beautiful zip sauce with crusty garlic toast as an appetizer, a perfect balance of flavors that awakened my taste buds and left me eager for more. We also ordered Parmesan truffle fries which were both crispy and seasoned to perfection.
For the main course, I had the difficult choice of selecting from a range of tempting options, from juicy steaks to tender chicken options and fresh fish. I decided to try the lemon chicken piccata. The chicken was so tender you did not need a knife to cut it. It was set atop angel hair pasta. The sauce was perfectly balanced with fresh capers and a creamy lemon sauce. . Each bite was a revelation, showcasing the chef's skill and dedication to creating memorable dining experiences. My dinner companion had the lamb chops that were simply divine and beautifully plated with vegetables and roast potatoes and drizzled with a balsamic reduction. We also tried the French onion soup and I had a smaller version of the RH salad which was so amazing. Every bite of both of these was delightful.
To conclude the meal on a sweet note, I indulged in a house-made dessert of warm crème brûlée topped with fresh berries and also we indulged in the triple chocolate mousse cake. They were both a comforting and delicious treat that perfectly capped off the culinary journey at "RH House."
In conclusion, "RH House" is a culinary dining experience that offers a diverse array of menu options, all crafted with care and expertise. Read moreUpdate as of 12 18 2021. I met one of the worst hostesses I have ever met there this day. She stared me up and down, glaring at my walker. Only greeted my sister. She talked/asked my sister questions that she should have asked me. Each time she passed, she could not stop staring as she had never met a person with a disability. I have been stared at, teased, etc, but when you work hospitality, at least pretend that you respect and think I am a human even if you think I'm not at your level or stature. I have no idea why she belittled me, but the staff said she did not mean it when they did not witness the awful service. We left without eating to go down the street.
The fries are a must. Everyone at the table enjoyed them. The artichoke dip is pretty amazing and colorful. The bread and butter has that beautiful crust but melt in your mouth inside. I normally don't like onion soup, but someone at the table let me try it, and I was impressed. The soup of the day cheddar potato was delicious. I got the Philly cheese steak, which might be my go-to. The only thing is that the entrance door is heavy and not automatic, and for having a disability not great. Another customer jumped up to get the door for me, but many places need to work on that, so I won't take a star away bc of that. The inside has a great ambiance and balance of class and colorful.
Update- I went back after the two year awful situation. I was nervous after the dreadful employee, but she wasn't there! I was happy and the staff I got this time were much better. We had Greta, but don't say it the American way, put some flavor in it. She was pleasant and vibrant even while it was really busy at that time, so her to handle my chatty mouth with such grace and checked up on us and treated me like a human being and asked me the questions, looked me in the eyes and not like last time asking my family "what would she like?" They never called me or updated me on their DEI training and information for their staff, which I see areas they can improve, but I saw so much improvement that I can add it back to my go to list and spot to do my interviews for my channel. The food was amazing. Their sauces made the food even more astounding but flavored even without.
We sat outside and was beautiful. It was hard to go back, but that was a customers fault because I asked for her to push her chair in for a minute and she ignored me and a friend asked her but only told the friend "she can get by,". I had to play around with my walking device, which took a minute and was uncomfortable, but ignorance is bliss and some only enjoy feeling superior to others instead of...
Read moreI passed by this place but decided I would give it a try, so I turned around and went back. The decor is really great. Modern and chic. Great vibe.
When I walked through the door I was greeted by a very charming young lady who truly could have been a supermodel, and I was seated almost immediately, even though they seemed busy. I was told my server would be right with me.
I sat at my table taking it all in, but did not have a menu. I sat there waiting...and waited...and waited...and waited.....and waited.
I waited for about 10 minutes, hoping that someone would have mercy on me and bring me a glass of water and a menu to look at while I waited.
After much waiting, one of the better waitresses (not mine) noticed me and had pity on me and asked if anyone had helped me. I indicated that no one had helped me, so she walked off.
I suppose she was going to go and tell someone that one of the dining guests had not been helped, but wondered why she did not help me herself.
I felt like The Invisible Man.
After a few minutes I asked someone if I could have a glass of water and a menu.
I did finally get a menu and glass of water.
As I looked the menu over, my official server finally arrived home from her vacation and asked me if I was ready to order. Well, I had just received my menu and had never been there before, so I did not know quite what I wanted. So she went away and came back in a couple of minutes, and wondered if I was ready to order then. I still was looking over the menu, so I told her I needed to look the menu over.
I suppose that was a mistake because it was several minutes more before she came back to the table. When she returned I thought I had better order something or it would be another 10 minutes.
It took quite a while for my salad to get to the table, but when it finally arrived it was absolutely DELICIOUS!
After a while my entree arrived. It was delicious as well. Mac and cheese with the best sauce I have tasted in quite a while.
The food offerings at this restaurant are superb, but bottom line, you can have the best food in the world, but if your service stinks, it ruins the whole experience for you. It was a good 45 minutes from the time I was seated until I finally got something to eat.
I would recommend not going to this restaurant unless you enjoy being neglected.
Hopefully, this restaurant will train its servers to seek after customer satisfaction. This could be a really great place if the...
