My relationship with Tim Hortons has been very toxic for a long time and I don’t know why I keep playing myself. Tim Hortons hasn’t been up to par for a long time. I try to do my part by using manners throughout the entirety of the experience, making sure my payment is ready so I’m not contributing to holding up the line, and be understanding when mistakes happen. Yet, does doing those normal things, every sensible adult person should be doing, guarantee me constant, good quality food/coffee? Absolutely not. 🙄
I started coming to this location because they are one of the good locations, with decent customer service, but lately my coffee/food has been trash. This morning, I ordered a medium dark roast coffee with 1 cream, 3 sugars. I usually like 2 creams, but I wanted to try reducing the amount so my coffee wouldn’t be lukewarm because I’ve had that problem many times with Tim Hortons.
Tell me why I STILL received a lukewarm cup of coffee? 🤦🏾♀️To add insult to injury, it was basically a cup of cream with what tasted like a dash of coffee. Why do I have to order black coffee in order for me to receive hot coffee??!! I don’t have to do that at Dunkin!! Also, I gave up on the food because it’s usually cold. Plus, I had to stop ordering espresso because they wouldn’t add it but would charge me for. 🙄🙄🙄 I am an avid, frequent coffee drinker…y’all don’t think I can taste the difference?!! If I was really down bad, I would have to finesse the system by ordering it on the side.
I’m going to suffer for the greater good and stop going to Tim Hortons as a whole to start making it at home😭😭. As for this I particular location, 9 times out of 10, I have a very pleasant experience with the staff. The quality and consistency of the food/drinks are just lacking. I appreciate the service, but ultimately I’m coming and spending money for the COFFEE!! Please do better because I would hate to see y’all end up like these other companies. Finally, is Tim Hortons better in Canada?...

Disappointing experience at Tim's. I'm not a regular, so I don't know the menu well, but being rushed while ordering didn't help. Got incorrect order... again (missing hash brown, cold hash browns). Staff seemed frazzled and rude, which didn't make up for the mistakes. Maybe take a deep breath and help customers who aren't familiar with the menu?
Longer version
I don't often stop at Tim's, usually only when it's on our way. As a result, I'm not super familiar with the menu. I knew what I wanted to order, though - the same thing I got last time, which, unfortunately, they got wrong. I decided to give them another shot, but maybe I should've known better. The lady helping us was not only rushed but also came across as rude, pushing us to order quickly. I understand mornings can be busy, but a little courtesy goes a long way.
As we ordered, my fiancé suggested upgrading to a combo, and I agreed. However, being unfamiliar with their drink options, I was trying to decide on the spot while being hurried along. Once we paid and received our food, I noticed only one hash brown in the bag and suspected an error. When I mentioned it to the staff, they seemed uncertain and had to double-check. It turned out both hash browns were indeed in the bag, but the packaging wasn't clear, which led to the confusion.
To make matters worse, when my fiancé mentioned the hash browns were ice cold halfway home, it wasn't surprising given how quickly we'd received our food. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I won't be rushing back...
Read moreOne of the worst Tim Hortons locations I've ever been. The only pro honestly is they're cheaper than the location near me. My last two experiences were as follows:
Ordered a farmer's breakfast wrap and they put the wrong meat in it and I walked in and asked for a replacement and they said "you've already eaten too much of it, we won't replace it" because they shoved all the meat in one and barely put any, in other words, they screwed up my order and wouldnt make it right... and they forgot my donut as well. My wife and I were in the drive through and the person taking the order rushed us through our order and cut me off several times and I snapped back my order to get her to actually listen. She then accused me of being rude after I politely let her cut me off several times while making my order and then they proceeded to mess up my order again and not give me my donut, gave me the wrong size on my drink and were very unapologetic.
The worst part is this location was polite, quick, and cheap when it first opened up but now...
