Wendy's — Restaurant in Rochester

Drive-thru business was thriving, line moved quickly. I chose to place order & eat inside. No one in line (or in the dining room), waited less than 2 minutes for someone to greet me & ask for my order.

Single with cheese was fresh & hot, assembled with the correct condiments. Fries were hot out of the fryer - be aware they're well-salted; if you are on a sodium restricted diet I would suggest ordering "no salt" fries.

Restroom was clean & well-stocked. One regular stall & 1 handicapped in the women's restroom. If I were to be really picky, the floor was littered with pieces of toilet paper, but I think it was due to the dispensers & wasn't awful. Two handicapped parking spaces; the two spaces designated for order pickups were closer to the door, but that may have been due to placement of the ramp. Plenty of space inside for wheelchair maneuvering.

One negative - drink cups are kept upside down on the counter next to the register. When I was given one for my drink, it was placed rim side down on the customer side of the counter. Nothing that is going to touch the drink should be kept on a potentially contaminated surface such as a public counter. I would prefer my cup come from a dispenser, or if there are none, then at least use a tray underneath and swap for clean daily. And please don't plop my drinking surface on a public counter.

Excellent customer service. Johnathon is a friendly and professional manager eager to help his customers. Maddison greats her guests with a smile and the order was served accurately, fresh, and delicious. I came to this restaurant after witnessing the worst customer service I have ever witnessed from the manager at the Plymouth Wendy's. I actually enjoy a lot of meals at both locations every month - but after how rude Mark was to a drive thru customer with a van full of children - I will go out of my way if necessary to give my patronage to the Rochester Wendy's. NEVER have I been treated poorly in Rochester - and NEVER have I seen anyone treated poorly in Rochester. I went through the drive-thru. Everyone was considerate however they had a problem with my credit card that was approved but then ask for my card back so he can run it again because he didn't understand what was happening. Frustrating. When I got my food they were again very considerate and pleasant. But just after I got onto the highway I looked at my food and when I looked at the french fries which I thought Wendy's was known to have the best french fries they were soft and dark brown and all mushed together I'm not happy with this experience.
