Domino's has always been my favorite delivery pizza. That is until I moved to where I currently live and had to start ordering the store at Herlong Village. I used to order Domino's as often as 10 times a month. Now, because of slow delivery, and poor quality, Domino's is lucky if I order once every six months. I've held off writing a bad review, but tonight changed it for me.
I ordered pizza online at 7:30pm. The Domino's tracker showed it would be delivered in about 45 minutes. I watched the tracker and saw it was running a little later than I thought it should, but no worries. That is until about 8pm when the tracker showed it was out of the oven and being inspected by Brittany. At 830 it was still showing being inspected by Brittany, so I called to get an update. At 845 I was still on hold and it was still showing being inspected by Brittany. So at 850, still holding, I decided to drive there to find out what was going on. I got there about 905, still holding and the app still showing being inspected by Brittany.
I went in, still holding, heard phones ringing off the hook and saw customers standing around waiting. I started explaining my deal, and the lady I think was Brittany immediately knew who I was.
But she lied to me. And that's why I am writing this review.
I told her I didn't want cold pizza and the app showed it had been sitting out for almost an hour. She said the app was not right that it actually had just came out. But, she did offer to refund my money and give me the pizza. Which is the only right thing she did. Because even after I told her I didn't want cold pizza, even if it was gonna be free, she assured me it was fresh and hot, just out of the oven.
Well, when she handed it to me the box was cold. I started to make her recook it, but serval others were there with the same problem as me, so I just left.
When I got home I had to reheat it in the oven. The toppings was scarce and so was the double cheese. The wings were cold and over cooked.
My time, my gas, my frustration means this pizza was NOT free, and I still had to eat pizza I didn't like only because Brittany couldn't tell the truth nor answer the phone and give the customers the respect they deserve.
Customer service is Proactive not Reactive... This Domino's desperately needs extensive training in proper customer service techniques.
Until then, I have to say... I do not advise you...
Read moreHad my second dissatisfying experience with this particular Dominos. I think it may be under new management or something. There is a new voice I hear over the phone, and I think because of maybe the girl's lack of experience, I've had problems with this Dominos. The first experience I had was about a month back when I tried to order pizzas. After about two hours of waiting, I called in (for about the third time), talking with the same girl who kept telling me that it should be on it's way. I got put on hold for over ten minutes and then finally ended the call. I called right back and she picked up and it was as though we hadn't just spoke. The delivery driver said that they had come and knocked and called a dozen times, even though my phone never rang and though I had a doorbell. In the end, out of frustration, I cancelled the order. Today, I had similar frustrations as I tried to call in and ask if the garlic could be removed from a pizza I had ordered online literally one minute after I ordered it. Usually, the employees are able to do this with no issues, however, this time, after calling in, this same person treated me like nothing could be done. I'm very upset, as I was a loyal customer. I recommend providing more training to this individual to prevent this franchise location from losing more business in the future. I most likely will discontinue ordering from here....
Read moreOkay, this place has alot they need to work on. The delivery driver told me the price and all i had in cash was $20's so I asked him do you have change for a 20? He said I have $15 so I said okay hold on a second please and I went to look for smaller bills and enough for a tip, I came back to the door and he snatched the 20 out of my hand at the same time that I was trying to tell him to just give me what he had and dont worry about the rest of the change he literally said and I quote " how about just give me the $20 (snatches out of my hand) and dont have ever bother ordering from Dominos again and I will make sure to tell my manager that you are Banned from ordering from Dominos." So I instantly was in shock that I was just talked to so rude and nasty by this kid and that he literally snatched money from my hand that I called the store to talk to the manager and she told me and I quote " I will talk to him about it but yes you are banned from ordering here" then she hung up the phone. So I am going to figure out some way to publicize this information so everyone else in the general public knows before hand what they are getting their self into with this company...little do they know I have a cousin that works for the corporate office of Dominos. I will be contacting him first to see how to get...
