Peaceful Palate — Restaurant in Rock Hill

I stumbled across this place after doing a google search for “the best Mac & cheese in Rock Hill SC”. They had great reviews so I placed a Togo/pickup order by phone. At first, it stated it was a Google line and to state my name and then started ringing. No one answered but they called me straight back (in less than a minute). I ordered the fried chicken wings (one protein and two sides) with Mac & cheese and greens, a shrimp basket and a Cuban chicken sandwich (cost was $54.17). The food was good with nice size portions. The only thing that I did not like was that my Mac & cheese was filled and mixed with yams (see picture) and I don’t eat Yams. The Mac & cheese was literally the only thing I really wanted and the only reason I came here after my google search to begin with. Very disappointed! However, my child ate it and loved it. I would definitely try it again but next time I’ll check the middle of my food before leaving or eat it there. Very delicious but they need to be mindful that some people have allergies and one bad move like this could cost someone...

I've been in south carolina since 2015 and have tried so many "soul food" restaurants...but this one tops them all in the food flavor category for sure!!!! The flavor of the greens, Mac and cheese and yams...yummy!!!!! Highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed!! Well done Peaceful Palate...well done...
