Techno Café — Restaurant in Rock Hill

I needed a place to post up and work remotely this past week, and this was the perfect spot. It's very cozy with lots of seating, free wifi, and relaxing atmosphere. Parking is close by and free in the parking garage. The owners were hanging out in the Cafe most of the time I was there and were very kind and welcoming. The robotic coffee is a neat concept and simple to use, and really hit the spot! The drink options are simple and I appreciated having a menu that didn't have 100 different ways to customize your drinks. I find other chains make their lattes too sweet, but theirs was the perfect balance of flavor. I really look forward to returning in the future when I need to work outside of the home. We would LOVE to try this place, but their hours are bad.

We want coffee after dinner. Can't go here because they close at 7.

Was gonna go there on a Sunday. Nope. Closed at 5.

Which makes no sense. It is a computerized, automated. Non-human operation. Why are the hours so bad?

I love working from cafés, and Techno Café checks all the boxes—strong Wi-Fi, plenty of space, and a great atmosphere that doesn’t feel crowded. The coffee is consistently good, which I really appreciate. While the food could be a bit fresher, it didn’t take away from the experience.
