First of all, this is a tavern/gambling joint, with two small tables for customers who just want to sit and eat. The bar seats and the slot machine chairs are literally inches apart and if you need to use the restroom you have to walk between them. There are eight slot machines in this very small bar. I took my young daughter here today because they advertise "real Chicago pizza". Having lived in Chicago my entire life, I can tell you that this is not Chicago pizza. Where do I start? There were no customers in the bar except for two people on the machines. Then a crackhead came in holding a 20 dollar bill, put it in the machine, lost his money and left, thank God. Then three women came in with drinks, and started gambling. I ordered a large Italian sausage pizza. The crust is not made from fresh dough, it is ready made. It had a very thin, very hard texture. I never seen anything like it. It was like crunching through hard plastic. The sausage is the exact same sausage that Casey's uses, rabbit-poop looking stuff with that weird taste. And our pizza was way over-loaded with the sausage to the point my daughter and I ate only one piece each. I love sausage, but not only is this sausage nasty, I have never had a pizza with this much on it. The cheese was good and so was the price, 19 bucks for a 16 inch. But that's it. We brought the pizza home and gave it to a neighbor family and as of this review, don't know if they liked it or not. I don't know where they get that crust from, but I hope I never see it again. I waited all week to go there today (my birthday) only to be terribly disappointed. Also, the pizza was served to us at our small table in the to-go box, never seen that either! Once again, this is not a restaurant environment by any stretch of the imagination. It is a bar/tavern/gambling joint that serves food, with questionable clientele. So if you have children and are thinking about dining-in here......DON'T! But if you like Casey's "Italian sausage",...

Read moreWent to Looneys for a little Saturday afternoon lunch. Heard great things about a cauliflower crust pizza that was to die for.....words that have never ever been true....till we ate here. If you didn't know that the crust wasn't a flour crust you wouldn't have known. But besides that, the whole pizza was the bomb! Ordered a sausage mushroom with the spicy giardiniera....flavortown!! Beer was cold and the dry rub wings were nice and crispy with a bit of slap. Worth a...
