Terror in The Woods, one of the Quad Cities' best beloved haunts, is reincarnated in the historic former Masons' building, now Skellington Manor, in the Rock Island District. This beautiful old building is spooky all on its own; the top two stories are dedicated entirely to bringing the scares, jumps, creeps and crawls to its visitors. The sheer size makes for lengthy run time (depending on how fast you can run!)
Haunters are dedicated, invested in their unique characters, and eager to hear your screams. The make up and costuming is handled by professionals, who bring theatrical experience and a love for the macabre. Animated displays, special effects, and elaborate automation round out the scares.
Touring this venue does involve climbing several flights of stairs. There's an elevator, but it has some...glitches. Otherwise, the set-up is not designed to require any extraordinary athletic skill, although terrified patrons can manage stunning acrobatics anyway!
It's recommended that younger children come to the Lights On event held one Saturday every year, as the haunt is geared to scare adults, and may be overwhelming...

Reading and looking through the reviews previously posted i thought i was in store for a good time. However upon arrival those hours where soon dashed.
