Subway — Restaurant in Rock Island

Last night September 28Th 2021. My 7 yr old ask for Subway for dinner and to get a sandwich to take to school the next day. So I just got off work took a shower placed my order online as I usually do so that way it gives me time to go pick it up! I received my confirmation number and details of our order stating that it be ready at 8:20 yeah I placed the order at 807 PM. When I get up there there are four employees sitting inside the establishment with the lights low on dim on top of the countertops. There are four other vehicles outside also waiting to get in to place an order along side door Dash orders. There were also a GrubHub order. I knocked on the glass several times To get the young teens attention. The male came to the door and cracked it open and said. We are close because my manager says we had to close early. I told him I don’t care about your calls in early than you need to close down your web sight and online access! Because you charge me $17.36 for my two foot-long sandwiches and you’re telling me you’re close but it says on your website that your closing time isn’t until 10pm. So either you give me my money back or you give me my refund or make my sandwiches! The young man proceeded to tell me that I need to contact the number on the website which he knew that number has been disconnected for over seven years since I’ve lived in Illinois it’s not a real number. That number should not be attached to this business establishment is not a valid business telephone number nor link to the subway on 30th St. and 18th Ave. in Rockisland . That is falsifying and plagiarism. So now the subway has STOLE my money I need to pay that is very bad business. Several times this company has been closed in the middle of the afternoon just a simple note on the door saying we’re closed what type of business are they running I wonder if the owners now this is how his business establishment...

Went into this subway wanting a meatball marinara sub. I was told that the meatballs were cold because the manager didn’t turn on the heating element for the meatballs to heat up. We went in there at 4:30 pm and the meatballs had been sitting at room temperature since they opened at 9 am and they were trying to serve these stone cold meatballs to customers. My cousin ate his sandwich after he put it in the oven. Will update if he gets food poisoning. I had to get a new meatball marinara sub after I brought my first one back. They were still serving the stone cold meatballs that were sitting out at room temperature all day long and they tried telling me that toasting the meatballs in the toaster would make them hot. I kept saying no that’s not going to work and even another customer who was ordering the meatball marinara sub told me that the toaster would make the meat hot. I was getting rather livid but kept my cool and after I checked the second sandwich I received and it was inevitably stone cold like the last one I asked for a refund. Which they were honorable in my request to a refund. I gave back both sandwich’s and went on my way. Be ware if you goto this subway they will serve you meatballs that have been sitting out in room temperature for...

The place is a complete circus. I tried to call first but phone line registered with Google is disconnected. So here it is- Went in to order. Girl working was screaming and carrying on about some girl to another guy who was across the restaurant near door. She wanted Everyone to hear. A poor older man was trying to pay and get out of there and she didn’t care to follow through. Another gal came out from back to help him then came to me. I asked for steak sandwich- nope- out. At 1:30pm Monday. She says- But you sure can go down the road to the other subway. I said it’s Ok how about tunu with American? Nope out. Girl is still carrying on. Talking about “Lord, not today” the girl helping me is saying how the doors are to be locked anyway. Wait what? was embarrassing for Subway and the community. I said- did you say there is another subway down the street because I am leaving. This place is horrible. And left.

And I promise will never walk back in again. Left and came to Moline. Great service here and they have all sandwich fixings. Whoever is running g this subway needs to step in or...
