Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Rockaway Township

Been eating here on & off since 2008. However, I’ve become a regular here in the last five months. Every time I come in to eat or to pick up take out, my experience has always been the same, the best!

•The server staff here are extremely friendly & communicative, with many being bilingual in both English and Spanish to boot. When taking my order, they ensure all the details are taken down such as temperature or sides, and they’re open to any questions regarding the meals. Even when the restaurant becomes substantially busy, they do hard & efficient work, and I seriously appreciate them for it!

•Management is equally hospitable & approachable. Often they ask to ensure the quality of my meal & they have no issue replacing a drink or side. They clearly work well with the rest of the staff as well, cooperating smoothly whenever there’s a large amount of customers. The effort they show is commendable and much appreciated!

•Food quality as well as serving size are excellent. I’ve never had any issue with the taste or texture or size of my meals when ordering. Even when ordering my usual meal on repeated visits, I’ve not had an experience that made me question the quality or preparation that my food went through. I get exactly what I paid for and never less.

•General cleanliness as well as sanitation of the restaurant is superb. Whether eating at a booth or a high top table, all food from the previous party of people has been wiped clean. Even when busy, the staff ensures that tables are cleaned swiftly before seating people down. I’ve not experienced any problems regarding foul smells, lack of sanitation, or any similar issues whatsoever.

In short, it’s a well run Applebees that I genuinely enjoy returning to for my favorite meal, a shrimp parmesan sirloin (Recommended!), and to relax after work or on a pleasant day. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! This is my first bad review.

We went there for my daughter's birthday since we have gone there for other birthdays. When we got there, I told the host it was my daughter's birthday. He couldn't care less, said nothing. Our waiter could barely understand English.( I can understand wanting to earn a living) As a person living in America dealing with Americans, learn the language. He had to come back several times to clarify. He even sent out someone from the kitchen. They still got the order wrong. I asked for pasta and tomato sauce and a side salad. My daughter and her mom ordered something relatively simple. They brought out my pasta and glorified ketchup and it was cold. The salad was in a big bowl(a meal salad bowl) which was not a side salad. She ordered a salad with steak. They got that wrong too. It took quite a while to bring a replacement. The place was dead, not busy. The waiter told her that she was wrong and was less than polite. We were hungry so we pressed on. Another mistake. Both my daughter and I began to feel nauseous. We needed to get out quick, no time for birthday cake. I told the waiter that we needed a check. He disappeared. I chased him down in the kitchen, hanging with his homies. I told him I needed to go. Another waitress told me to calm down. I said, no problem, I'll puke all over. Our bill was $77+ . Not only was this meal digusting and made me puke before I could get to my car... and...ruin my daughter's birthday... but I was way overcharged for this slop. I WOULD NEVER...

I Will Always Love it when I çan go to eat at Applebee's Neighborhood Bar & Grill Only Because Applebee's Neighborhood Bar and Grill has some of the Most Amazing Food. And They have the $ 9.99 deal BUT only for a Limited Time.. They have a Bar Bacon Cheeseburger & You can Get Chicken Tenders with a Soft Drink . I can Sure Recommend That the $ 9.99 Deal is The BEST around. You will Always have a Really Super Lunch or Dinner whenever You go to Applebee's Neighborhood Bar and Grill I am Not going to Stear You WRONG. Also Everything Else on Applebee's Menu is Really,Really Delicious also . Also if You are into Sports They have TVS all over & if You are into Trivia Applebee's also has Trivia To .
