Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Rockaway Township

This location is the best Buffalo wild wings in New Jersey. I should just go ahead and say its the best BDUBS I have ever visited. I have been to many locations including the locations in texas, las vegas and down south jersey by Atlantic city. Every employee at this location seems to always have a smile on their face when I visit. It is a testament to their management and even upper management because I can tell that they actually care and strive to deliver great service, and that they appreciate every guest that walks in. I visited one night craving fried pickles and wings and also asked to watch a cricket game I had a huge wager on that was part of my 17 game parlay and without hesitation the manager Andrew was able to find it and even switched it on to the largest tv in my view. There was another manager Angie who remembered me from my last visit and she even remembered my favorite fruit punch drink with exactly 12 ice cubes. I have a very sensitive tongue issue. This means alot to me considering many other locations just churn and burn their guests.They truly make me feel welcomed at this location. My bartender/waitress Bekah was also very informative about their new menu items and was pin point about describing all the sauces I have never tried.I like trying a new sauce for every visit. Their hosts Gelman was the first smile I saw at the door and he always seems to be working hard ,I even saw him cleaning tables just to clear it off for the next guest that needed to be seated. The location is always busy during sporting events, but they do not fail to deliver excellent food and service every time I visit.The atmosphere is always friendly and I can tell that all the guests are enjoying their visits. The employees all wear their masks and keep a safe distance following covid protocols. I miss their one bartender who I first met on my first visit, he was a friendly guy who knew all his sports and even talked smack to me about my love for the game of cricket. If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would. I placed a DoorDash pickup order at 5:30pm and I arrived at the restaurant at 6:10pm. I waited over 2 hours and left before receiving my food. There was an issue with orders not being communicated with the system, therefore our order had to be manually put in a second time, this was after 30 minutes of waiting and other patrons having the same issue. After the order having to be placed again, there was no further communication with the three individuals working the pickup counter. I waited in the lobby patiently for my order, while people arrived after me and received their food right away. During our wait, many other patrons arrived to pickup their orders, which were also very backed up. When orders were brought out from the kitchen, the individuals working the counter did not call out names or try to communicate with people about their delayed orders. I had to ask the workers multiple times to read the names off the pickup order bags because they were not doing so. At one point, the lobby area for pickup was so crowded with people waiting for Missing orders that it was difficult to move amongst the crowd, especially a concern during a pandemic. The workers were uncooperative and not trying at all the apologize or resolve the issue. I left after waiting for 2 hours and didn't get my food. When a different customer asked to see a manager, the host very rudely put his hand to her face and said "we are very busy" which was exactly why the manager needed to be present. The manager never came out and the host was standing very unprofessionally at his stand eating bags of chips. This was a beyond terrible experience and I will not be a customer at this location ever again and it makes me never want to eat at any BWW location due to the lack of training of employees. This place is horribly run. We waited 20 minutes for someone to seat us and then when we just walked in it was another 15 for someone to greet us. There was no manager or anyone in charge present to make things worse. And on top of this we were not given any straws, blue cheese with wings, or napkins, yes napkins. Our waiter only checked back once after we got our food and then proceeded to ask if we want the check 20 minutes after we got our food. I would have forgiven all of this if we were charged correctly, we were wrongfully charged with 90 bucks for a couple orders of wings which were not cooked enough may I mention. After checking, it should have been around 60 dollars but our waiter would not help us. Before you think I’m bias, I am a huge fan of the Buffalo Wild Wing Franchise, and have never had an issue with any other location. An issue happening like this once is a fluke, twice is a pattern but the last 4 or 5 times I have come to this location, there has been horrendous service, poor conditions, and no accountability. Do yourself a favor and do not give this place your business anytime soon unless you want a headache and overcharged food.
