I’m a very picky eater, figured I would try this place out, staff is a bit slow but very nice, the place looks a bit rough, but clean. The food was honestly amazing! You have to try their rotisserie chicken with rice, it was perfect! I have since been back and tried there Shawarma beef and chicken sandwiches, which were also amazing! Their falafel sandwich was also probably one of the best I’ve ever had. I have been to many places in Chicago with similar cuisine, this place is as good as them for everything else, but the rotisserie was just incredible, better than anything I’ve had in Chicago for sure. I’m glad I didn’t let the look of the place dissuade me from stopping in and trying the food. I’d say it’s probably the best kept Mediterranean food secret...

I was the only customer and waited almost 30 minutes for my order of two items. The chicken was extremely dry, which was disappointing for a chicken restaurant. They also forgot the sauce I requested, and the price is significantly higher than other similar options in the area. I'll give them a try again in a few months when they have had time to work out the kinks, but for now, I was very disappointed after being very excited...
Read moreChicken Shawarma is great & they have real middle eastern flatbread that I used to get when I lived in Chicago.Their seasoned rice is AMAZING!!...however, their Baba ghanouj & Humus base is from a can.i know this because I not only could taste it (as I've purchased the same Ziyad brand from a store) but I saw the yellow gallon Ziyad can they scooped out out of to make my baba ghanouj. it was still "ok" but made in house would be much better. my significant other liked it & the humus....But, for the price, it should be made...
