Rivera’s Fresh Market — Restaurant in Rockford Township

The meat in their restaurant is always old I go back just to see if The food gets better but I will not eat no more tacos there I believe the meat they use is from days Old I don't think they understand they have to get rid of it once it's So many hours old I believe this meat sometimes sits for days and they still sell it in their tacos that's why it's so hard won't be eating there no more I don't recommend this place to eat food is deftly not fresh These tacos I buy were always steak tacos same result not fresh at all Had to add 1 star because I couldn't post it without Doing a rating but they get Cyril...

There is so much in this store... So much to see, smell, and the beautiful languages being spoken around us made us feel like we had been transported into a vacation fiesta. We went to the meat department which had a vast aray of different cuts of meat. Some that woulf be hard to find in a more expensive, less "urban" area. We will definitely be back. lead gentlemen in the meat department was so friendly and extremely patient. I would definitely recommend stopping in! Used to be great. This visit was terrible.

No elotes, no chips n guac. Chicken tacos had bones in them and the meat was so dry even the salsa couldn't help. They asked if I wanted to come out and get different ones which is nice but I didn't feel like driving across town again.

Also the chicken meat wasn't even their normal meat, it looked like burnt rotisserie chicken meat. I took pictures showing the meat and the 2 bones in it, I didn't even want to eat another taco thinking it was just going to be the same thing as the first.
