Doughboys Donut — Restaurant in Rockford Township

Omar & Dee the owners are very awesome and understanding people my mother has worked for them for years. Always working around her schedule for us kids & grandkids, that is what’s needed in business owners today! The atmosphere is very friendly and opening, my favorite donut is the chocolate frosted bavarian cream w/ a chocolate milk or caramel iced coffee. However the quality of the donuts aren’t the greatest any more & just suggesting a need for a new selection of donuts is needed they haven’t changed in 20 plus years. The new upgrades to the lights, paint, flooring and front walkway were much needed! Hopefully the ownership of doughboys stays the same or in the immediate family for years to come, I’ll always go to doughboys before that other place down the street! After a long long 12 hour day of manufacturing skateboards it was 7am. I went into this location because cmon, white folks love breakfast for dinner... haha. Stopped in, got 4 different donuts and it was 3$ something. Awesome deal. I loved the Cherry, White creme filled long john and the sprinkled donuts. However they make the donuts they almost have a crust but soft texture on bottom. Satisfies your soft yet crunchy pallet. I dig em. I'm usually a fan of blueberry donuts but the ones they have I did not care for. However, I would still rate this place 5/5. Very nice staff and even though I had spray paint on my hands, dust on my jeans they didn't look at me with any judgement. fuhk yeah guys....

Never chocolate long John's always filled... I never go here because they never have what I want... today 4 time walking in here today They had like no donuts why are they open... we need a new donut place out here... if I could gave 0 stars I would lady told me they make what they sold last week im like why not make more so what if you have to throw away donuts really building your customers base is key to business people like me ever time I go there not having what I want makes me not want to ever step foot in there...
