Great Harvest Bread Co. — Restaurant in Rockford Township

I love great harvest bread and goodies and shop there every chance I get for many years. So i write this review with a heavy heart. Today as I was waiting in line in a busy store. I finally got to the front of the line yah! Bread, brownies,and a sandwich yes my mouth is watering. The lady behind the counter examined my lunch order then processed to take care of the lady in line behind me. She does this 3 more times. What is going on here? Only after everyone in the store was taken care of does she come back to me. I am still waiting patient trying to keep a calm attitude. The counter lady finally takes my order does not give me a new bread card. It made me feel very small that the order I was placing was not important compared to all of the other customers. I was never rude. I placed my order and left politely. Now that I know that it is company policy to discriminate against men and place all others orders first I think I will not be returning back to great harvest ever again. This is the worst I have ever been treated In a retail establishment and I think your company should consider some basic decency training for your customer...

The bread here is beyond amazing! Wow! I came in here by word of mouth and was amazed I had not heard of it sooner. They give you free samples of bread and even have butter out for you! I tried a raspberry white chocolate anniversary loaf sample and was hooked after the first bite. Who would of thought raspberries and white chocolate would taste good in a loaf of bread?! What an amazing surprise! I brought someone here to shop and turned into a customer myself instantly! I tried their homemade chicken salad on potato chive bread sandwich and was also very impressed by the flavors and taste! They have wonderful customer service as well and even treats for the dogs! I can’t wait to go back and let my tastebuds go on another...

they never miss!!! i’ve been coming here for about a decade now and i’ve never yet had something i dislike. i tried the build your own sandwich for the first time today and, granted i've been going through it, it was so good i actually cried. everything here is so made with love and the staff is always so friendly. oh and don’t get me started on the cinnamon roll bread. i genuinely prefer this to birthday cake every year, it's brilliant. the mini loaves don’t last longer than a few days in my house because between three of us we absolutely house it in passing, personally I'm a fan of the pumpkin chocolate chip and the raspberry rhubarb ones. there's something for...
