I always order ahead on the app. If it is in the evening, it's usually not ready. I've waited up to 30 minutes passed my promised pick up time. Last night, I watched the digital board carefully. There was no progress on my order. I waited 15 minutes. Suddenly, my name lights up stating my order is ready. I alert a staff member. He checks the order shelf & it's not there (only 2 bags were there) I wait at the counter for another 10 minutes while the staff member checks on other orders then finally decides to check on me again. He again says my name toward the kitchen, to seemingly no one in particular. I am unexpectedly handed my bag by the person at the end of the cooking line. I check my bag immediately & I'm missing my cold items (veggies & and dressing, which I ordered & paid for extra). There must be something wrong with their order system. The sticker on my bag only listed the hot food. There was a lady complaining about her order the entire time i was there. She left a bag full of food that was incorrect. The order screen was full of orders with no progress. Folks & food delivery services were coming in and all had to wait. A group of maybe 6 came in and were told it would be a very long wait. Between the kitchen and the full lobby, the noise level was very high. I wouldn't want to dine-in with that atmosphere. The food has always been good, but I usually order the same thing. It has always been good. For the sake of the employees, I wish their kitchen/ prep area was bigger. They are working almost back to back! With some training, I know the staff can handle rush time. For now, I'm going to order early in the day. I can easily...
Read moreThey just opened this week so we rolled the dice and gave it a try and it didn’t disappoint.
I got 20 bone in wings, split into 3 sauces, with 2 sides for dipping for $27 clams tax included.
It was basically $1 a wing and I’m totally happy with that and I’ll tell you why. Their chicken wings are the size they are dispose to be!
I won’t name names, but the other “wing franchise” in Loves Park / Machesney Park has been skimping on their wings for years. Super small and overcooked and they charge more “for the atmosphere” I guess.
Not this place! You want good wings, you go here.
We got 3 flavors. -parmesan garlic -lemon pepper -smoked barbecue
They were all amazing, but the star of the show was the lemon pepper. The lemon just smacked you in the face. Like pucker up buttercup! Not overly powerful, but you can totally taste it as you should.
There was a bit of a wait as it’s opening weekend and everyone wanting to try them out, plus the kitchen staff has yet to find their rhythm… but that will all settle out soon.
I was super pleased to also see you can get a wing combo! A 6 piece, with some fries and a drink! I mean common…. You wanting wings for lunch, this is your joint!
See you again soon wingstop! Thanks for an...
Read moreDON'T BOTHER!! I understand that they are short staffed. I work in food service- I get it. However, this new location is 4/5× gonna mess up/forget something on your order. They'll put you on hold for 20mins, still take your order as if they have the ability to fulfill it, and then mess it up and claim they're overwhelmed. On more than 1 occasion I've had whole parts of my meal missing or incorrect, and the other times I've been missing things like sauce. I'm faced with either going back or going without. Once I had to have them remake the whole order just so I could eat it as 1 hot meal. The workers usually seem ok to fix it, but as a customer it sucks to be put in that situation repeatedly. I am not quality control and shouldn't feel like I have to stand there and watch them pack my food so I know it's right. It's such a shame cause when they do it right, it is good, but the majority of the time it's wrong. I never had these issues at the E State (Rkfd) location so I guess I'll be going there now or just not getting it at all. Just one big inconvenience,...
