I came to the Sonic drive-in at 9:15 on August 29th 2018 the outside speaker in the Drive-Thru was broken my husband could not hear nor could they hear him.... So when we got to the window my husband explained what we wanted and and the cashier close the window to tell the cook... She came back to the window my husband ask her about the order and she told him but one wasn't currect so the cashier walked over to tell them to make the other one different.. the manager which was very sloppy her under clothes showing and her clothes not tucked in laughing and giggling with the cooks in the back working looks over at our truck and start shoving the hamburgers in the bag without correcting the one with (NO mayo) as she was talking to the cashier so when they brought my food I went through it and got the hamburger out and told them please no mayonnaise... the female manager went back there and stayed back there in the kitchen a good while and brought the sandwich back up there put it in a bag and was laughing and cutting up with all the others and hollering like she did something to my food... I did not get a receipt or a name out of the manager that was very unprofessional and I don't want to go back and I didn't eat that hamburger.... Bad experience with Rockingham NC Sonic.. Needs more professional management... Sad they lost...
   Read moreThe main reason people go to Sonic is for ice cream treats, drinks, etc. so, I have a hard time understanding how during these times, where people cant go inside and eat, they are enjoying Sonic even more because their business should have never slowed down, but on any given day, you can go there and they are SLOWER than SLOW, you could be the only car on the premises and you are going to wait at least 5 min before you are even acknowledged. The icing on the cake these past week or so is the fact that when you pull up to order a milkshake, a sundae, a blast, etc. they don't have ice cream. I mean I understand machines break and need to be cleaned, but for several days in a row, your main menu item is not available and they make no apologies for it. This past year has been the worst year for customer service at this location. I used to go there at least 2 times a day to get a drink and I do not even bother anymore. Someone should really pay attention to your customers and your caliber of employee because it is almost at the bottom...
   Read moreI go to Sonic at least four times a week and order the same drink .... unsweetened tea and a splash of lemonade. On occasion I order small tots. The order is seldom right but today I reached my limit and I will never return to this establishment. I received my order after the screen cleared and I buzzed back. The girl assured me she would bring my order out. It arrived after 30 minutes and I got unsweetened tea with nothing and cold tots mixed with French fries. The runner listened and took it all back. She came back with drink correct but tots still not fresh. I asked for the evening manager. I assured her I would never be back. If you all anything even a lemon to tea it is an add on cost of fifty cents. She was kind and offered new tots but at that point I had been there 45 minutes.
