TKO Shea's Sports Cafe — Restaurant in Rockland

I was in town on a business trip with a friend and this was the closet bar to our hotel. We stopped after dinner for a beverage around 11p.m. The female bartender served us our first drinks which were good. After that it went downhill! We put at least $20 in the jukebox and asked the bartender to turn up it up several times. The first time she turned it up and then back down again. When we asked her again she ignored us. When my friend was waiting to use the women’s restroom the male bartender told her “Don’t you go in the Men’s room” with an attitude. She replied with “I don’t have any intentions on going into the men’s room, I am waiting to use the women’s restroom”. We went back to the jukebox to play more music and after we put money in the jukebox the male bartender says “Oh, I turned that off for the night”. That would have been nice to know before putting money into the machine since after we asked he was unable to refund us our money. I bartend on the side and have never seen two bartenders be so rude. When the bar was closing they were not friendly at all. Literally, taking drinks out of your hand even if you weren’t finished. I would not recommend visiting this bar! Terrible...

This review is based solely on the pizza which is advertised as bar pizza which has a very specific meaning on the South Shore. I ordered takeout so I can’t speak to much of anything else but the bartender who helped me when I came in was pleasant and quick to help me.

The pizza appeared undercooked, it was not crispy at all, my pineapple tasted as if it was still fresh, no char on it at all. The dough itself was not buttery or cracker like, it was almost similar to a dough you’d get from a chain pizza place rather than a typical SSBP. The cheese seemed to be heavy on skim mozzarella and almost no cheddar which left a bad taste in my mouth combined with the fact it was under cooked. Keep in mind when I say undercooked it was edible but not where it should be by any stretch.

Long story short: I will likely not be returning for pizza but the order was completed quickly and the staff...

3/2025 There were 8 of us and Kelli, the server did an amazing job taking excellent care of us ! Kelli was very polite , our food was hot and very good . Kelli came to our table often to see if we needed anything . The prices are very reasonable . It’s a very casual place where a lot if people know each other but most are very friendly when you sit at the bar . I wish they had gluten free celiac food for me . I get the Greek salad with Romain lettuce or a couple of side orders whatever the vegetable is and the mashed potatoes and that was good. But their pizzas look good and I’m disappointed that they don’t have a gluten-free one for me.
