I hate to make this review but I was just in such disbelief when I left.
Iâll start off by saying this place is really such a cute little cafe. Two older couples really looked like they enjoyed their meals. I was headed to the gym and really wanted a coffee so I popped in. Never been before and always support local places in cocoa village for my coffee runs, so wanted to try something new. I canât leave one star because I didnât try anything so Iâm trying not to completely go off my experience but I do have to share it. I ordered an iced dirty chai, which is an iced chai with a shot of espresso. On the menu the chai is $4 and there is also someone called a red eye I believe which is coffee with an espresso shot for either $4/$5.
When I went to order the woman made it seemed like I was an inconvenience from the beginning. I had asked if the chai they serve is already sweetened because thatâs what I like and thatâs what Iâm used to. I get a snide, âno, everything WE have is organicâ ok? Great. May I have simple syrup? âWe donât have thatâ so she sweetened it with white sugar when I requested it to be sweet. Doesnât seem organic but ok. She then goes to pour the espresso shot into my iced chai and there wasnât enough room, so she pours some espresso in and dumps whateverâs at the top out the cup into the sink 3xâs!!! She then fit whatever was left of espresso. So at this point Iâm like ok, half the ice is gone and Iâm only getting half my espresso shot. I was still honestly willing to pay and get the coffee anyway. That is until this woman turns around and say $10 dollars. I said TEN dollars, no sorry I canât do that and thanked her anyway and walked out. I felt bad after but honestly, the customer service was horrible, and that coffee looked horrible. I have never done this in my life! Iâm a millennial people pleaser. So it was just bad all...

From the moment you step into the Whistle Stop, itâs clear this is no ordinary Cafe experience. The ambiance is sophisticated yet inviting, with soft lighting, comfortable seating, and an artfully designed interior that balances modernity with original charm.
The menu is a bit limited, but with a carefully curated selection of tasty dishes that highlight the presence of organic and fresh ingredients. We started with a chocolate ice coffee and a freshed squeezed lemonade, which was flavorful and fresh right from the get go to start0. Each sip was perfectly balanced, showcasing the talent for pairing simple ingredients in unexpected drinks.
For the main course, I opted for the chicken Sandwish, accompany by a "Monte Cristo Sandwish. The chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with the rich sauce complementing the natural flavor of the chicken. The Monte Carlo Sandwich, top with a well cooked and soft french toast bun were equally delightfulâcooked to perfection, yet still bursting with freshness.
The service was impeccable throughout the morning. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and offered excellent options. It was clear that the staff takes pride in delivering top-notch hospitality.
Overall, The Whistle Stop Cafe in Rockledge FL next to the bay offers an unforgettable dining experience, where fine cuisine meets impeccable service in a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just treating yourself to a quick bite, this restaurant is sure to impress. Highly...
Read moreWe were looking for a breakfast and coffee place in Cocoa Village area. We found Whistle Stop Cafe on Google and gave it a try. It is a small place with some tables inside and few outside that face the Indian River. We were there on a Sunday where the one person serving was a bit overwhelmed as it got busy and it was just her. The person cooking (I assume owner) came out to check on tables too and work the registers needed. I would say, they likely need an additional person on weekends to handle things. We ordered coffee (just OK) and cappuccino which was not prepared well and when I spoke to the owner, another one was made. It was better, but still too weak to pass for Espresso based drink. Stick to the plain coffee. The food on the other hand was quite good. My wife got the veggie egg dish which had fresh pepper, ripe tomatoes, spinich and feta in tasty scrambled eggs. The only miss was the bread as we ordered multi-graim and got white (not a big deal). I tried the fried green tomatoes with a side of bacon. The dish was a great surprised. The green tomatoes were a bit sour almost pickle like and lightly breaded, then drisled with a nice sauce. Very tasty and worth getting. The bacon consisted a few thick slices and also very good. It seems the food here is fresh and well prepared. They also offer some danishes, muffins and cookies but we did not try any. The view out to the water is relaxing. Free Street parking was available and if you have time to spare the, this is a friendly place to...
