Starbucks — Restaurant in Rocklin

So, this has become my favorite Starbucks. That is hard to say because there are like 758 within 5 minutes of my house (slight exaggeration). There are Starbucks nearby that have great service with super friendly people. They even remember my name! (This happens to me at more than one Starbucks... Yes I have a problem) And Starbucks is very good at having consistent quality, so the food and coffee is always great. But, this Starbucks is unique because it is quiet! The acoustic ceiling tiles and raised wooden floor dampen the noise. Most Starbucks echo and it is often hard to have a conversation. But this one is quiet. Maybe I'm old now, but quiet is nice.

The OTHER reason why this is the best Starbucks is because they don't make my wife feel like an alien when she says she has a nut allergy. Most Starbucks give the corporate line about liability and one place even said their machines were broken to avoid helping her!!! At this Starbucks, they make her feel like providing a clean mixer is so easy to do and they go way out of their way to help her feel like it is absolutely no big deal to make this easy accomodation! Today, the barista, Beth, was so supportive in this area.

I realize that it is on us as customers to protect ourselves and Starbucks doesn't have to make any accommodations for allergies. We can simply go somewhere else. But this place, and Beth, are special and go out of their way to make it seem like it is no big...

It’s my first time at the grand opening of a Starbucks. It’s exciting! I like their setup. This place brings partners forward with us and this spacious site is a good one to study, work, or read. It’s a good spot to mingle too.

I recommend this spot and can’t wait to walk over sometime since it’s close to my parent’s house. I can bring them too. Good job with this old US Bank building too. Growing up I used to run deposits up from the car on the street. The gal I did that for is no longer with us, but it is all in good tidings that more memories will come for this building and this location.

Just a heads up that the parking lot is kind of small and awkward but it this location’s quirk.

I ordered an impossible sandwich and an iced-Americano. The flavor of the bean is as I expect it and is a consistency I cherish. They did not have any lunch or snack foods this visit, but they’re working on...

I visit this Starbucks near my workplace almost every day and usually order the same drink. Most of the team is friendly, professional, and gets my order right every time — and I really appreciate their consistency and kindness.

However, I’ve had repeated negative experiences with one employee, Brittany. She often messes up my order, even when I explain it clearly. More troubling, her demeanor toward me feels off — I consistently get uncomfortable looks that seem dismissive or even racially biased. I can’t say for sure what her intentions are, but the pattern has made me feel unwelcome and singled out.
