Kiki's Chicken Place — Restaurant in Rocklin

Absolutely top tier service.

Having never eaten at Kiki's before, on the recommendation of a friend I placed an online order for delivery at dinner time last night. I am gluten and dairy intolerant, which I mentioned in the comments of my wings combo. While I was waiting, I received a call from the manager, letting me know that at Kiki's the wings contain both gluten and dairy, and then he listed menu items that would work for my dietary restrictions. Now it so happened that the rest of the food was already ready, and the dasher had shown up for my order by that time (Honestly pretty fast if you ask me, which is a good sign for the next time I order). In order to make sure the dasher was able to meet their timelines and the rest of my party was able to get the food while it was hot and fresh, he sent the rest of the order out with the dasher and then took his own time to deliver me some grilled tenders and french fries, and assured me once again that they were completely gluten free.

As a person with dietary restrictions, I was so impressed that: not only did they have options I could eat, but they went out of their way to inform me, and make it so I could eat Kiki's that same night! I greatly appreciate how they made me feel like a valued customer.

If you like fried chicken and chicken wings, you cannot go wrong with Kiki's. Their chicken is always crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The batter has enough flavor to enjoy the chicken by itself but is made even better by the different of sauces you can choose from. Oh and they have chicken and waffles, which are delicious. For true gluttonous decadence, I recommend getting them with the maple butter. Sure, it's not on anyone's diet, but it is sheer bliss. The waffles are cooked perfectly and are light and fluffy on the inside with the perfect crisp on the outside. My favorite, however is the Kiki's fries. Ample amounts of fried chicken sit on top of a a mountain of fries (or tater tots), smothered in your sauces of choice (extra hot buffalo for me, thank you), and, for those not dairy challenged, you can enjoy them with cheese as well. This is one of our kid’s favorite chicken places.

The employees were nice and the food came out quickly. This is a big deal because fried food at almost anywhere takes a while to come out. We didn’t wait long.

The food tasted good. Sometimes when you order fried food it has that burnt oil taste but that wasn’t our experience here. The food was cooked perfectly.

The flavors we chose tasted as expected based on their names and were overall good.

The waffle was the most impressive. It was huge, and you got so much considering it’s price. We asked and found out that it was made from scratch and did not come out of a carton. We may come back just for waffles.

A key thing to note is that this place is very filling. Order the smaller portions. You’ll be full. Seriously.
