Kiki's Chicken Place — Restaurant in Rocklin

Went here for maybe the 3rd time ever..took my two kiddos with me around 9pm. Was a quick snack hopefully. Guy name named Christopher wouldn't let us do our Kiki Frie Order half shoestring half regular. So disappointing and horrible customer service. If we just wanted one type of frie we would make them at home for a fourth of the cost. Whole point of eating fast food is options and quick. I mean they have all the different fries in the back, same cost either way. Anyways I had to teach a hard lesson to my kiddos about customer service and hard earned money and not just forking over money when a restaurant isn't even willing to serve you. We ended up taking our money somewhere else which is so sad because it's so easy to fulfill the order we asked for with all the items on hand. Eww, horrible customer service from Christopher who blamed his manager as the Culprit the entire time and took 0 responsibility. Places like this can and will go out of business, it's just a...

Not sure why but the bone in wings are never tender. They are meaty but without the sauce, mostly bland. I would not recommend it. The tater tots are greasy and did not impress me either. The restaurant is clean and modern. The staff seems distant and busy in back kitchen. There was no one at the counter. I walked in there and waited for a few minutes before someone noticed me. I don't recall being greeted but it is not a big deal. This my second Kiki's try since I visited the Rancho Cordova branch and I was reminded why I don't frequent this place. It is hard to overstate the impact of KiKi's on my foody dreams about what's for lunch or what's for dinner. My first experience with KiKi's Tots was like the first time I ever had a banana split, lobster or truffle ravioli; utterly surprising, satisfying and a desire to stuff myself repeatedly. Oh, those nights where I stayed awake with an aching belly from eating too many Tots but suffering with a smile on my face, such blissful agony. I have shared this joy with many friends and will continue to go again and again. Thank you KiKi's, for making life just a little bit better....
