WELL, I have visited this spot about 30 times in the last 2 years of living in this town. they have gotten the order correct i think maybe twice. Constantly you go in and are told that one side of the restaurant is closed. Also multiple times i have had the same issue. I went for nachos a few days and suprise, taco bell side is closed. at 6pm. so, I like to order a breast and a thigh from kfc. I settled for that order but to no suprise didnt get what i wanted.. though the team was kind an courteous, they still messed it up. it started by hanging out at the window for about 10 minutes to be told she didnt know i was there.... how does one person take an order and noone else in the place know that someone is coming to the next window to pick it up? anyway, the biscuits were not ready so i was awarded an extra chicken breast since i missed out on the biscuits. fine, nice gesture, kind people. decent service. but im pretty glad that the gesture was made since i was given a chicken drum (the wing portion) the size of my thumb and a chicken breast. not the breast and thigh i asked for. this is common and not even surprising anymore. I mean, i clearly say breast and thigh, the person on the mic says you want a two piece? and i say yes, a breast and a thigh, that makes two... still wrong. every time. Not terrible, but also no what i ordered.. again. Today i went there for taco bell i got most of my order, but the chicken quesadilla had chicken and cheese in half of it and the other half was just cheese and tortilla. 10 minutes down the road, no drink. Lucky for me, they gave it to me when i went in the store with my receipt. So the place stays open since we dont have other options near us, but the attention to detail and ability to listen needs some real improvement. and why is one side always closed? can you not have employees there that...
Read moreOn a previous visit, When I arrived in the drive thru line, there was a total of 4 cars in line not including myself. It took almost 10 minutes for the line to move once. I figured they must have had a large order, and since I was at the speaker, I ordered my food. Almost 10 minutes later, the line finally moved again. I wanted to leave, but had already invested 20 minutes. I recieved a phone call shortly after entering the line, which allowed me to estimate the total visit time fairly accurately. It took almost 40 minutes to move 5 cars through the drive thru.
It's about the same every time I visit, so I visit far less frequently than I would like. Out of all the fast food brands in rockmart, taco bell is my favorite. But this particular restaurant only gets a visit from myself once every couple months, where as, if the service was on par with other restaurants i would dine there at least once a week.
Just out of curiosity, this evening, I decided I would walk in and carry out. When I walked up to the counter, the woman taking orders(also appeared to be a manager) was talking to a person who I assume is a friend of hers. I was ignored momentarily while they wrapped up their conversation. No big deal. She took my order, and was courteous. But, as I was waiting for my food(about 10 min) i noticed that about 60% of what the employees were doing was messing around, and about 40% working at a rather slow pace. And now i know why it takes so long. It appears that both crew and management have zero sense of urgency, and some of the rather loud yelling and horseplay set a very unprofessional mood. They all seem very nice and generally good natured, but I feel like this location doesnt turn nearly the profit that it could if...
Read moreWe arrived about 5 minutes before the lobby closed- drive thru was opened for several more hours. The lobby doors were unlocked. My husband went in and waited to be acknowledged for about 10 minutes. The workers clearly saw him, making eye contact, but not asking him what he needed. Finally, I went in and called out to be acknowledged. The “manager” came up and said the lobby is closed. I explained the situation-that we were there before closing time but were ignored. He again stated that they were closed. I then asked if that were the case, how were we allowed to enter the store. Certainly the doors were not locked. I was very, and I mean VERY politely -I’ve been a customer service manager for 20+ years and expect nothing but the best from my employees, so I kinda know how it works. Since the drive thru was still opened and it wouldn’t be any kind of burden for them, I asked if they could please take our order. I was then told that if I didn’t leave, they would call the police. I said ok, but can you please give me corporate contact information. He’s said, no, you can call corporate if you want, but I don’t have that info. Honestly, I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully in my life. I have a personal affinity for Rockmart, and try to do my business there as much as possible, but I promise that this TacoBell will never have my...
