Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Rockville

I normally get my food from that location and it usually comes with some great customer service, but today I Decided to go see if I could go get that birthday free sub I seen was a thing from tik-tok! But showing up to the Rockville pike location I was greeted by this obese young Spanish lady(didn’t get her name) who gave me the worst customer service a person could ask for!! I just asked about the birthday free sub and she responded in the most rudest and weird way to me “ oh we don’t do that anymore” and I told her okay when her manager walked up to me and said it was ok since it was my birthday, but she still stoop up next to him making me feel uncomfortable staring at me like I was doing something wrong or like I couldn’t afford a sub when I was trying to get the birthday free sub jersey gives to everyone. If I could give minus star, I would. If you think sub is hard to mess up making, you are wrong. I didn't believe this until I had subs from this place. Few years ago, this place was decent and my husband and I were happy to find this place since we are both huge fan of cheese steaks sub. For few months, the quality of food went downhill really bad. The people who make subs dont really care to communicate and ask you what you want or what choices they have. The entire sub is so greasy and soggy, and they never remember to put any veggies. Seriously, no veggies. It is only bun, meat, cheese, and that is it. It looks disgusting and of course it gave us upset stomach. I gave the last chance tonight because of free coupon, but that was huge mistake. NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN even...

The food is good, but the service whenever I go is strange. Guy at the register could've rang me up before the guy in front of me as he is getting his cold sub made, but instead he is glaring at the guy making the cold sub, just a strange vibe. The employees seem as cold as their subs. Also they only accept bills no larger than a $20, in order to encourage people to use credit cards so that they can ask for a tip option on the screen before paying. This obviously doesn't happen with cash. I feel weird buying food here because the employees seem very cold, even to each other, the and insistence on tipping, not that I have a problem with tipping but the price of the subs already should be enough for a take out joint and the service doesn't really make me feel inclined...
