5013 Coffee Rockwall — Restaurant in Rockwall

This started out as a pleasant experience a few months ago. However, the last few weeks I have been treated rudely twice and will not be back until something changes. The first time I went in, the employee (dark haired woman) was in the back, looking at me through the outside door and did not come in and help me for several minutes. Obviously just taking her break and ignoring me. When she did finally come in, she said the coffee grinder wasn’t working, so I left. I decided to give it another shot today and was treated extremely rudely on the phone by the same woman. Very disappointing experience for such a great little place. I wish I knew who the owners were so I could contact them and let them know that they need to let this employee go. I believe in shopping local, but I will not be back. I will go back to getting my coffee beans at Sprouts. If I could give her zero...

First time here! Cute spot! Love the patriotism, posted scripture and atmosphere. The coffee was pretty good, too. I'm a super big coffee lover, and I love trying new spots around town.

My only complaint with this place would be that I arrive at 2:30pm, half an hour before they close, and all of the pastries have been put away and the staff is cleaning the counters and sweeping. This was my very first impression of this cute little spot, and I'm not even able to get the full experience because the staff wanted to make sure they're out the door at 3pm. Not good for business and honestly put a bad taste in my mouth. I would definitely up the training when it comes to your staff not rushing out when you have first-time customers walking in the doors at all...

On Sundays they only have 1 employee who is far too overloaded with work. There's always a line to the door and it takes like 25 min. just to grab some coffee :/ (This as been 3 Sundays for me, its a pattern). Please have atleast 2 workers there at a time. The poor girl was there alone with 10 ppl in line, totally not her fault. It's not even as if the place was packed, it wasn't, you just can't expect one person to do all that themselves. Will probably have to find a different coffee shop on the way...
