Food is ok, service not so much. My husband and I came here on a early Sunday afternoon for some menudo and tacos. As soon as we came in the front door I noticed the cashier hunched over on the counter on her phone, she didn't acknowledge us until we were right in front of her and said hello. After ordering we sat down and waited for our food, after about 5 min I had to go up to the counter and remind the girl that she never handed me my drink. While we waited on our food, a previous customer came up the counter complaining about his food/order to the cashier and she didn't seem to acknowledge him. They served our food rather quickly but I soon realized my menudo didn't have any Maiz/Hominy, I finished up my tacos and went up to the counter to ask about the hominy. The girl said the menudo doesn't come with hominy so I asked for some on the side. Now this time while I waited for the hominy, another customer was complaining about his pozole being different than before and was complaining to every employee. After about 15 min I had to go back up again and remind them about my side of hominy. They soon brought out a bowl of hominy in a pozole broth that had peices of pork in it. This whole situation was ridiculous. They really need to work on their customer service and quality of their food. Customers aren't stupid.

We visited this place on 09/29/2022 for dinner. We did not want to go to a fancy plate place as they usually leave something to be desired as far as authenticity. We were not disappointed here. It was a small and simple place which is what we like. Upon entering, the place was clean and not full of patrons. They did have a constant flow of customers for to go orders. We were immediately greeted. The prices seemed to be very good. When asking about the menudo, I was given a sample by Tio Mon. It was delicious, but I chose the five taco special. Buttercup opted for two gorditas. Everything was delicious! So delicious, that I ordered a burrito to go. Tio Mon came from behind the register to personally thank us for coming in and shook our hands. You won’t get that at the fancy plate places. I wanted to make sure my burrito made it back safe, so I buckled it in for safety. When we are back in the area, we will definitely return. We highly recommend this place for good...

I left very disappointed and still hungry. I ordered the number 4 , which was 3 tostados. I said I wanted chicken and everything on it. I stressed I like all the toppings unlike my husband , onions, lettuce, cheese, peppers, cilantro, and avocado. My husband ordered the number 4 also but instructed he only wanted lettuce, cheese and cilantro with his meet choices. He got what he ordered. I only had chicken on one of my tostadas. I bet with all three , I got a total of one tablespoon of Refried beans on them. Not a tablespoon on each but in total. Also only lettuce and cheese on the top. There was one tiny tomato cube on one of them and I saw one tiny sliver of avocado on only one of them. I was still hungry and and so very disappointed. Also don’t expect chips and salsa. You won’t get it. I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that didn’t give you chips and salsa and have never in my left one still hungry!! Wish I had taken a photo. We...

During my most recent visit to my fav DFW taco stop, I indulged in their lengua tacos, and let me tell you, they were absolutely sublime! The lengua was tender, richly flavored, and melted perfectly in the mouth, paired exquisitely with their homemade salsa and a squeeze of fresh lime. I also can say the carnitas, pollo, and barbacoa tacos are no less satisfying. I make a point to visit this restaurant every time I return to DFW! It’s well worth the drive from Allen. Last year, during my first visit here, I made the rookie mistake of under-ordering, which left me dreaming of these tacos for months. This time around, I made sure to order enough to satisfy my cravings, and the experience did not disappoint. The staff were as friendly and helpful as ever, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to any taco enthusiast out there! i can’t wait for my next visit!!

This is easily my favorite spot for street tacos, tortas, and other authentic Mexican food in the area. I've tried all of their meat options at this point, and I don't think there's a single one that I don't like. With most taquerias that I go to, there's usually one or two meat options that are not great, but this place really executes every option well. Pick whatever sounds good, and you probably won't go wrong. With that said, my personal favorites are their chicharrón, guiso verde, and nopales y papas! Give this place a try! Oh, and they even recently opened a carniceria (meat market) a few doors down!
