Ani's Table & Marketplace — Restaurant in Rocky Hill

I visited for the first time the other day. The product selection was wonderful (I loved how there were some international products like from Mexico, Spain, etc.). The staff was super warm, friendly, and welcoming. I bought some HOMEMADE garlic butter (oh my gosh, YUM!!! GET SOME!!!) and Mexican sea salt. Those were awesome (!!!) finds. My only two suggestions are:

1. The price points are a bit high but, I can understand why (the product type, prices these days, etc.). This will just cause me to visit every once in a while versus once a week or something due to the price points.
2. I love that you've prepared food but, a majority of it is Italian. Could there be more American and international prepared foods? That'd be really nice.

Went in tonight and looked around. The owner greeted me and left me to continue browsing. Beautiful store with a variety of imported items as others have mentioned. Had I not already had plans for the evening I would have bought more. There were premade meals, pastas and vegetables, the owner did have future plans for Paninis and other wonderful fresh bowls. I did buy the focaccia bread that was fresh made, it was the perfect balance of crunch and softness with a much appreciated balance of spices. A beautiful shop with fantastic sandwiches & pastries, gourmet olive oils, pasta, and condiments, beautiful home goods, and amazing prepared foods for now or later. The perfect spot next time you need a host/hostess/foodie gift that's not a bottle of wine or flowers. Everything our group had was tasty and beautifully presented.
