I cannot express my disappointment with my experience here enough. After looking at the menu online, we decided to place an order for takeout. When we called, they started by saying several of the dishes we wanted to order (based off of their menu) were not available anymore. Ok, that's fine. No worries. We finish placing the order and then go to pick up the food. Based on the menu pricing, we were expecting to pay around $60 and were flabbergasted when the cost ended up being over $100. Since we wanted to get home quickly to our family, due to how hungry everyone was, we just paid and said we'd look at it after. Maybe we got it wrong. We got home and unpacked everything and the shock on everyone's faces. The "side" salads literally had a couple pieces of lettuce, barely filling the container 1/4 of the way. Most of what was in the container for salad was black and rotten. The salad dressings did not have tops and were "closed" by putting plastic wrap around them. Dressing was everywhere in the bag and over our takeout boxes. Then the "breadsticks." It was very dry and hard bread that resembled French bread. The entrees were even more disappointing. Not only were they priced twice as high as on the menu, but the amount of food for what we paid, not to mention the quality and taste, for what we paid was atrocious. One of us ordered the lasagna. I wish I was joking, it was as if they put ladles and ladles of sauce to cover up how they only gave you two noodles worth of the smallest slice of lasagna you have ever seen. The noodles were undercooked as well. The other dishes were the same. A very small chicken breast on the chicken parm, lots of sauce and barely any noodles.
We called to ask about the pricing and explained our confusion after double checking the pricing online and were told that they were changing the menu. It's not good business to have something listed as one price and then charge another. That is the restaurant's responsibility, they should at least be upfront about the price change before the order is put through so the customer can decide if they want to still go through with the...
Read moreI highly recommend Cugino’s Mediterranean, Italian, American Restaurant for pizza! This was my first visit, as the restaurant just opened recently, and it absolutely impressed us. Both Jim and I loved the crust—it had the perfect balance of crispiness and chew. The amount of toppings was just right, and the red sauce was full of flavor without being overpowering.
Although we only tried the pizza this time, I’m sure the rest of the menu is just as good. We’ll definitely be back to explore more. A great new addition...
