Pete's Pizza Palace — Restaurant in Rocky Hill

I went to this place a couple of times last week. I ordered a grinder and fries. Grinders is ok to good. Fries are greasy. Not good

Today I decided to change locations that I get a grinder for my older sister every weekend when I visit her.

Ordered steak and cheese grinder and 8 wings and 2 waters.

Was charged over $30.00 with tax.

1/2 Grinder $10.75 Wings. $10.25 2 Waters $5.00 Extra sauce $3.00

Total should of been $26.00 w/o tax. Was charged over $29.00 w/o tax. I mention something to the lady(I believe she is the owner) about having a receipt with itemized cost. I said to her this seems to be much and asked what the cost of the items, as she told me. I then said the menu says the wings are $10.25 and the total doesn’t seem right, she then said I got extra sauce that you only get one sauce with the order of wings, so I was charged extra $11.25. She(the owner) never mentioned to me about charging me extra for sauce which should of been mentioned when I asked for extra. Also the containers are small and one of them was only filled up half way. The price should of only $27.00 not $29.00.

This place is overpriced on waters for 2 waters $5.00 1/2 grinder is over $11.00. Extra sauce $3.00

Ridiculous. Way to lose a new customer that would of ordered a least 3 times a week. Very poor experience today. I was definitely overcharged. Will not see me...

I came into the pizza restaurant and put in an order. I decided on a small Pete's special. The man told me about 25 minutes. When I came back this young man cashed me out. I went in my car and cleaned my hands and decided to take a piece out. When I took a bite out of the pizza it was burned at the bottom. I was so mad, I went back in and spoke the man who I first placed the order with and told him I just want my money back because I can't wait for them to make another one. The young man come from the back and see that the bottom of the pizza is burnt and said no it not. When have your business customers service is very important and you need to teach these young people how to go about dealing with the public is very important. The lady who is apart of the business stepped in and gave my money back also apologies. I came from Windsor because that's how go there pizza is but they just lost a customer that has always supported...

We are long time Rocky Hill residents and have seen our fair share of pizza restaurants come and go through this town. Pete’s is the GENUINE ARTICLE! Your food has to good to survive here, especially . . . ESPECIALLY . . . pizza. Well, the pizza is amazing. Another great thing is the guy on the phone is very helpful and has great manners, which is a dying artform these days. Lastly, they pack up your order all nicer and neater than anyone else in town, even better than some of the more established places in town that are known for such things.
