I recently had bought a Groupon for my friend and I because she recently had to put her dog down, so she’s been really sad. We were both really excited to try this new place and have a nice relaxing day!!
I called yesterday to make an appt. the woman who answered said she was busy on the Bistro side, and would call me back to schedule. Never received a call back that day.
Tried calling early this morning to make the appt. after they were open. Called a couple times & no answer. The woman called me to explain she was in with a client until 9am & she heard the phone ringing. She said that another team member would be coming in at 9am & to wait for a call back. 9:30 rolls around... no call back.
I tried calling again & the woman texted me and said “Please text me.” She then called me directly after the text was sent to me. That conversation was the most rude interaction I’ve had, I must say this woman really made me feel like a complete inconvenience. She basically yelled at me for calling so much, and said she’s booked up (when she had told me previously this morning we could get scheduled for today....which i didn’t care about anymore- I was just trying to call to schedule my damn appointment) She basically didn’t let me get a word in, told me to return my coupon and go somewhere else. “I doesn’t have time for people who don’t have patience like you” The lack of care and professionalism skills I received from this person over the phone as a customer really showed me (as someone interested in paying for a service here) what kind of business this is/how they want to treat customers.
I am one very patient and understanding person who works and healthcare and with the public for years, and this was just very unacceptable. I understand being short staffed and how frustrating things can be, but maybe don’t advertise coupons on Groupon if you don’t have the people/recourses/interaction skills available to schedule and carry out these advertisements professionally and pleasantly....because this experience and that woman was anything BUT.
LOL at your response because i was never rude to you. I stand that my review was 100% honest:) Please post the call log!!!!! Your # is posted on the website and it is the business number.....It will just show you never answer the phone. And to even comment on how I treat friend's and family has nothing to do with my bad experience and treatment from you. This was 2 days of me calling to get an appointment scheduled. I was never rude to you lol stop lying on here, you didn’t even let me talk. you were just super dismissive and rude. Take some time to reflect over this and maybe think about how you talk to customers and reflect to improve on some of those skills....
Read moreReview based on June 2023 visit: I have to say I'm a little nervous to write this review as I have seen on Google that the owner doesn't take negative news very well. But here goes.
My husband and I stopped in to get coffee and breakfast for his birthday - we have never been and like trying new to us places. I was quite frankly confused by the whole place Java is in its name, but it seemed like Java was one of the last things that was on the worker's (I think it may have been the owner) mind. As the Java was already premade and all she did was add pump syrup to it! But anyway, it was fine. We also ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches (to go) Our total bill for 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches was around $44 - I don't know exactly, as I didn't get a receipt. But I did question the prices as I thought it was a bit high. Our bacon egg and cheese sandwiches were $15 each, coffee was $5 each. I think there may have been an up charge on the GF bagel to make up the difference. Honestly, it was my husband's birthday so I didn't really pay attention to the pricing.
So food/drinks were ok. The croissant itself, which was homemade, was delicious! The store itself was a little schizophrenic - a little bit of everything, handwritten signs, furniture having all different kinds of chairs and what not, backwards signs. And seems like they made a little bit of everything food wise too, I saw Indian, Lebanese, Vietnamese, and Italian foods there. But NO VANILLA LATTE - in a JAVA bistro ha ha ha.
Here's where I think it fell off the rails for me: the owner was REALLY REALLY pushing her Pho and meatballs, AND........also unsolicited was giving me weight loss tips, She was telling me about intermittent fasting and healthy eating, etc. I felt very uncomfortable at this point and couldn't wait to get...
Read moreI ordered a limoncello mascarpone cake slice, after 15 min waiting they gave me this… a piece of frozen cake in a container, she told me “wait 5 min to eat it” Bad experience. Really bad service and bad drinks too.
Regarding your answer: We never move the fan that you said. He just seat in those seats because two persons was seat there first we didn’t know anything about that space was closed. We didn’t know that you opened just for someone that was breastfeeding. We didn’t get mad when you ask us to seat outside. I told you. We totally understand and I said sorry too. First, I ask for my dads drink and you gave me a different drink for him and it wasn’t ok, but he drink it anyway. Second, the person that take the order never told us about the frozen cake. I think that is important inform the costumers about that small details because no all the costumers are regular. We never saw on the menu that you have that you just sell frozen food. Third, she gave me the cake just in a container , without any bag, spoon and the container was dirty with something different than the cake. Is supposed to be that way ? I never rush you for the order or be rude with you or anybody in your store, I waited until you finish with the previous order. Pay attention to the details in your service and the way you talk to the costumers, you wasn’t kind went you told us about the closed area and we didn’t know about it, A person was crossing the same space we crossed and nobody same anything about a closed space. How can we know that area was closed if we saw some...
