Dunkin' — Restaurant in Rogers Park Township

Worst experience, they will decide for you what you get even when you have already selected.

Went there, used the kiosk to place my order. The employee said "here's your half dozen donuts" and I grabbed my box and went on my way. Only to get home, open the box to find what was in there wasn't anywhere close to what I had selected, so I went back.

She said that they don't carry the donuts I selected at the kiosk, when I asked why she wouldn't inform me instead of just picking her favorites, she just kept repeating that for as long as she's worked there they haven't made any of the options on my kiosk order, never since she's worked there. I asked for a refund, she refused and said I had to pick from what they had behind the counter...dismal selection at best. Worst customer service I've experienced at a DD.

This was the second negative experience I've had in the location but now I know why it's always empty...

The “manager” was extremely rude. I know for a fact (cause you can see a picture of it) I selected iced on the order yourself machine. When it was made I noticed it was hot and I simply explained what I said above and added, “can I possibly do a remake.” The employee says yes let me make sure. Then asked the manager and the manager explains “yeah if the label says hot then we make hot” and then sits there and doesn’t remake. so I explain again and she continues being rude and treating me like I’ve never been to a coffee shop let alone a Dunkin’ Donuts under a train station (lmao cmon girl 😭) so finally I ask so can I just get it remade or not with attitude, she just walks off with no word, takes a minute and comes back with my drink and adds a snide remark at the end “maybe we should just stick to ordering with a person” well maybe you should stick…...

This is tough for me, because this is my neighborhood Dunkin. However, I no longer go to this location due to the violent gang activity that has moved near there. A local school teacher was shot and killed right outside that store, and known gang members are loitering inside that Dunkin and nearby. The store manager is a nice guy, the employees are all very friendly, and I lOVE Dunkin, but because there is too much known gang-related activity near that store, I will give my business to other Dunkin locations. I will say this about Dunkin. They have the best combination of VALUE, SERVICE, and TASTE of all coffee establishments. Forget about cache, Instagram, Hollywood elites, spend your hard earned money at Dunkin instead of starbucks and you will get better value...
