Leone Beach Park — Attraction in Rogers Park Township

Great small park for children and their guardians to enjoy family fun. It is near the beach public transportion and gas stations. The park is clean organized well and has a police presence. Great views and very easy to see.The play ground equipment is large and exciting plenty of room for several children. There is a nice shaded area that has seating available. Great little beach with life guards! I got here on Sunday and was able to find parking in the lot, which was a pleasant surprise. In order to pay, you have to locate one of the machines and enter your license plate number. (I really wish they'd get an app because I found this to be super annoying). We decided we will visit all the Chicago beaches this summer. Leone Beach is the first and it is a decent area. Lots of families, some with dogs. Passersby walking and playing with their dogs in the water. This beach is very clean, but there are a lot of rocks in the sand.
