Went there a few weeks ago after a wedding. The food is just delicious. I had the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup - the soup was not the creamy style I was expecting but it was fabulous, especially with the tasty cheese sandwich. My partner had the turkey tostini, and I hate to say that I liked that even more than the grilled cheese! He only let me have one bite though, so I have to get it when we go back. Got a couple of olive rolls and some baklava to go - loved the rolls and the olives inside, and the baklava was just heavenly. I wound up eating 3 of the 4 pieces. Will definitely be coming back to this very charming place.

Köfte plate and Turkish coffee (pictured) are excellent. The Köfte plate was fresh, savoury, flavorful, and juicy. The warm couscous was perfect for the cold day and the lamb/veal was seasoned and cooked just right. Try the tostinis as well - the breakfast one is my favorite but they are all very good. I always order the Turkish coffee and it is consistent and balanced perfectly every time. The owner has a warm personality and makes you feel at home while you enjoy delicious food. Tostini is a gift to the food scene in Chicago.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I live close by so it's a good place to stop by and get lunch or early dinner. The owner is super nice whenever I stop by and he makes all of the food by order so it's always fresh! My go to is the chicken tostini, but I've had about all of the tostinis and tried the menemen. I can't say anything about the authenticity, but the taste is definitely there :)

We went with my boyfriend a month ago, we are latin and normally curious about Mediterranean and eastern European cuisine. Tostini is on my way from red line to home, and I always wanted to grab lunch there; but my expectations were LOW considering the food, the service and the friendliness of this place. The owner (I definitely didn't forgot his name, but didn't ask how it is written) spent his time talking with us, explaining us his culture, traditions and cuisine. He took his time on listening to us, and made our experience really nice. The food? THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. I've never tried such delicious Turkish food, ingredients were definitely fresh, the flavor of everything was stunning. I could have lunch there everyday. The Turkish tea was also delicious and was a perfect ending for such stunning lunch. THANK YOU !! We are pending to have breakfast and some baklava there...

Five of us went their for Turkish breakfast. We spent $25 for each. First, they serve us one omelette to share among five of us. They also had one side of porridge in very tiny serving dishes along with jam and salad, bread was also dried up. Omelet must have three or four egs with sausage. That is it! I was sitting there thinking may be there will serve more food. So I asked him if we could get the more omelette? It did not come out they way it looked in the picture. I didn't complain to owner who was also the cook because I didn't want ruined my birthday. $130 was too much for 4eggs and sausage. wouldn't go there...
