I really like the feel for this park. When I need to clear my head real quick, its overwatch of the city sets the tone for reflection while reminding me that I have to go back into 'it' again. The pathways are well-kept, clean and reliable. Garbage bins are readily available and at night, the paths are appropriately light...not too blinding to take away from moonlight but lit enough to reinforce a sense of safety. It is not a park for numbers or where I would do a picnic - it is best suitable for a strool of mediation or a run away from the...

Genuinely fun, truly excellent. Magnificent lakefront sea shore with sees in general. Perhaps the best sea shore I've been to in Chicagoland. Pollinator gardens, local area gardens, craftsmanship! Such a lot of local area association in making these spaces thus many spaces for the local area. Spots for youngsters to climb and have one another, spaces for skateboarders to sharpen their specialty. Substantial seats including paintings from neighborhood specialists. Genuinely a wonderful...

Seriously fun, seriously beautiful. Wonderful lakefront beach with views all around. One of the best beaches I've been to in Chicagoland. Pollinator gardens, community gardens, art! So much community involvement in making these spaces and so many spaces for the community. Places for kids to climb and have eachother, spaces for skateboarders to hone their craft. Concrete benches featuring murals from local artists. Truly a...

A beautiful, neighborhood beach park with a great vibe. Just regular neighbors hanging out on the "Artists Wall", folks walking/running with their dogs, students from nearby Loyola and Northwestern partying and sunning alongside families with happy kiddos playing in the sand and surf. Never too crowded and way more laid back than the beach scenes to the south of Rogers Park.

My favorite beach in Chicago! Diverse and welcoming to all cultures without one feeling overwhelmed by others. Beach areas are plentiful. Sitting areas are benches, inclusive sculptures, and the Rogers park Legends 2018 painted wall. A walkable pier and a protected shrubbery sprawl sit adjacent to each other as well.
