Starbucks — Restaurant in Rogers Park Township

Update: I like so loathe this location now. It’s been so many times that I’ve been & it gets more & more horrid each time, with a few exceptions of the nice people that I do encounter, otherwise I DREAD coming here. Like, immensely. Why couldn’t this be an area where there’s like 3 in the same vicinity. Thank you to the good souls I do get to interact with here. You’re appreciated.

Life has been pure H.E. double hockey sticks this past few days, especially today. Today has been so rough on me. So I found myself at a Starbucks as usual cause nothing can go wrong inside a Starbucks, such a safe haven. I just want to thank Max for being such an amazing spirit! Max, I don’t think you understand how meaningful your gesture was to me. I can’t find the words enough! Like, I’m just so so so so so so so SO thankful!!!! Thank you so much for being you and being so kind to me. I’m so appreciative of how nice you were to me. I can’t write how thankful I am enough. What you did and how you treated me just leaves me beyond words can form. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!! From the bottom of my heart. I will never forgot what you did for me. Thank you so much!!! You’re such an amazing soul! Thank you for allowing me to experience that! You just don’t understand how probably something so simple just helped me in so many ways. Thank you a million times over !!!! I will never forget you.

I buy coffee almost every day from somewhere on my way to work. I’ve worked in Chicago for five years and I had the most impactful experience with Tristan today. Tristan was the MOST authentic and kindest barista I’ve ever talked with. They made me feel so welcome and I could tell our interaction was genuine. They made thoughtful suggestions and I have worked in retail my whole life… this person is a dream custom service employee. I truly needed that moment of kindness this morning and my day was immediately turned around with their moment of kindness. I don’t know how to express how much of a difference you made, but you are amazing at what you do! If you ever need a different job, I’d hire you in a heart beat! There’s a location inside my place of work that services Starbucks, but honestly, I’ll be back just for the vibes....

I don't know what it is with this location, but they make my drink either too milky or too sugary most of the time, and I usually just ignore it because it’s just a drink. But today, the same thing happened, and I was thinking to myself omg, they always do this and then I looked at my cup, and there was a long piece of hair 🤮!! The way I ran to the bathroom and threw up🤢. It was very traumatizing, to say the least. This was my last straw for this location. Everyone there is friendly, so I won’t talk down on their customer service but come on, the drive-thru wasn’t even busy when I got there; there were no cars in front of me or behind me . Please double check make sure things like this don’t happen. I had to go get a refund because the thought of getting another drink makes me sick to my...
