El Rinconcito — Restaurant in Rogers

This restaurant is truly is a “hidden” gem, as it was a tad tricky to find it off of 71B. My husband and I both ordered the quesabirria tacos-one with charro beans, and the other with refried beans. We also ordered a poblano and cheese taco which included fresh tortillas. The charro beans were full of flavor and were made with some sort of sausage and maybe some pork shoulder/beef… they were so delicious with the fluffy rice served. The birria beef consommé tasted like it had been slow cooking for hours to perfection. The food was incredible, authentic, and worth every penny. SO good! So far I've had the mole, pozole, barbacoa and everything has been delicious! The three dishes I've tried have been so well seasoned and authentic, I'm curious to try more! Will definitely be coming back!

Edit: this is my go-to for authentic comfort Mexican food. Beware there may be a wait bc it's always packed.

Can also now recommend their -Agüa fresca, cucumber lemonade is my fav, but they have others. -Menudo -Quesabirria, platter of 3 with rice and frijoles a la charra -Tacos: -lengüa (tongue) -tripa (tripe) -Caldo de res (mexican beef stew)

We went to this place with friends who were experts in Mexican food. They said it's the place where food is homely and authentic. I loved the simplicity of the food, and it was really yummy. They had bunch of vegetarian options. My friend ordered for us -- squash stir fry with cheese and chilli rellano. Both of these dishes were awesome. The tortillas were fresh.
